c	charly itchwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food here! Everything made from fresh produce. Try the Elk, Bison or beef burgers for a real big treat. We also tried the specialty of the house which is the 3 course Elk Short Rib meal. Had it with the housemade Cream of Spinach and it was delicious ? And the chocolate mousse foe desert was sweet enough! They make a good Old Fashion and great Mimi to with fresh mint. Would recommend anytime if you love great food!

Food was decent but very small portion wise for the amount being charged. Had to ask for several things that should have come immediately like pepper etc. Drinks mediocre at best.
R	Rebecca Blain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unless you like spending three hours eating average dishes from a set menu in a space that has less ambiance than some fast food chains, there are so many better places to eat in Banff. We made a dinner reservation here after perusing the menu and deciding on our order. The online reservation system asked for a credit card to reserve a table. It was for 7pm. We were looking forward to a treat as part of a weekend getaway. We arrived on time and had to wait for a table which had not been prepared in advance. It took some time before the server took our order. We ordered the three course adventure menu. It was a very long wait for food, and when it came they were both the wrong order. It was another very long wait to get the correct order. The wait time between courses was unbelievable. We were there from 7pm until they closed at 10pm, waiting for our food. We were told dessert was a pear tart but what we got was some type of vanilla/lemon custard tart that wasn't worth eating. The waiter refilled our water once during the three hours we were there. His way of apologizing was to say we were "unlucky". Would not recommend for any reason.
M	Matthew Sheldrake on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was absolutely astounding. Kisook and Jam are wonderful servers. Bright personalities, very friendly and super polite! The food was delicious. French onion soup 10/10, soup of the day was cream of mushroom 9/10, and we both had the sirloin steak with bacon and veg. Great high quality Alberta beef that just melts in your mouth. Order it 1 colour below how you usually like it though! Taste was succulent, the sauce was amazing and somehow the steamed vegetables were tossed in magic. We both had the Napoleon for dessert and that was fantastic! Even the whipped cream on it was a step above! I would absolutely recommend that anyone that visits Banff eats here and make sure you ask to sit in Kisook or Jam's section!

We ended up ordering Domino's on our phone and leaving hungry. We also got told that the chief was ad and didn't want to make the pizza... Well if the chef don't want to-do his/her job they should find a job they are happy with...
S	Steven Gross on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife and I stayed at the Royal Canadian lodge. It was a fantastic experience. We had breakfast at the Evergreen Restaurant. It was good food. I had eggs Benedict. I would order the same food again. Very good.
T	T Lacs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife said to give this 1 star, but my food was pretty good so it's worth 2. The atmosphere is not very good though. Nobody in the restaurant should have been a clue. Pizza is greasy and not the best, although the crust is absolutely delicious; it's the only good thing about the pizza. Bison burger is good. I asked for a water and got straight from the tap. That alone is probably worth a 1 star. The bar has no drinks on tap, only bottled beer. Restaurant has good potential but right now only worth two stars compared to what else is available in Banff.
I	I Never Was on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carolina and Elmer helped us for both our visits to Evergreen. The Healthy Hiker's Breakfast featured a balance of eggs, yogurt, fruit and toast. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was just right. The Belgian Waffles were cooked to perfection with fresh berries and whipped cream. If you're looking for a clean, simple experience in the mountains with a touch of creativity, then Evergreen is a great choice.
