Hands down the best breakfast sandwich in Alberta, let alone Calgary. The short rib was so tender and flavourful, all other elements were complimentary. So tasty without being too rich. Get the onion rings. So crispy and unique. No other place has rings like this. Service is also outstanding.

I was so excited to try this new breakfast spot, as I have been to their other restaurant Brokin Yolk and love it, this one did not disappoint. All their breakfast Sammie’s are to die for and their sides are delicious. We usually sit in and eat but you can take it go as well! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, making this a must try breakfast spot!

Fantastic new breakfast sandwich shop with amazing food. Everything is fresh to order, at a reasonable price. Nothing kept in warming trays here! Had the hot mess (spicy chicken sandwich) and the shorty (braised short rib with an onion ring) and both were fantastic. Delicious coffee too! Owned and operated by two brothers and is truly a local business. Very friendly staff, clean spot and well decorated. Bit far from my home in the SE but so worth the drive. Definitely check it out!

Bro's To Go in Varsity, a sibling restaurant to Bro'kin Yolk - 10/10 ⭐! We had The Shorty - Beef Short Rib, Egg, Crispy Onions And The Lola - Longanisa (Pork Sausage) Patty, lettuce, tomato, and egg We also had the Spiced Waffle Fries and Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Boba Both came on a gluten free potato bun that was soft, pillowy and delicious. Everything tasted amazing and homey. The waffle fries were cooked perfectly and spiced perfectly, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Vietnamese coffee was sweet and delicious, the Boba tasted fresh and they had oat milk as an option! They also have a $10 lunch deal for students! I definitely recommend visiting this place and 100% will be back.

The food was delicious. Good service. I kind of wish the portion size for the Vietnamese coffee with boba was larger. The only thing is I have a suspicion I may have gotten food poisoning from here. I didn’t eat anything else that morning and started to have GI distress by the afternoon that lasted a couple days… I’d still say it was worth it. I just don’t know if I’m ready to give it another try yet.

Came across this place while I was in the neighbourhood and though I'd stop in. It was not busy at all when I was there, so lots of seating to choose from. Very modern and basic with bright yellow walls inside, but lots of natural light from all the large windows. They also had a cool mural on one of the walls. The staff was quite friendly and helpful; service was also pretty quick. I wasn't sure what to get so decided on the vegetarian option. It had an Impossible veggie pattie, which was cooked well but very basic. Toppings were lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions and a special sauce, which were all delicious. The bun was also nice and soft. All in all, pretty standard and run of the mill. It was not bad, but pretty pricey for just a basic veggie burger - $14 - so I didn't really feel like I got my money's worth. It came with a small cookie, which was soft and fresh, however any sides had to be ordered separately. Overall, I feel it's a bit too hyped up and overpriced. Perhaps their other sandwich options are better, but I wouldn't go back for a veggie burger.

We had the hot mess burger. It was so freaking good! The waffle fries are the best I've had. The person taking our order was super helpful and knowledgeable ob the menu. I love the interior decor and style.

The Kale salad was a stand out- lots of crunchy bits and the saracha is the kick it needs to come to life. Onion rings had a lot of crunch and batter but still light and not heavy or greasy. Waffle fries were well seasoned. The Chicken sandwich was tender and well flavoured, very satisfying. The Basic B was a good breakfast sandwich, maybe could use a bit more of a crunch but still good. 4/5 only because the portions were pretty small for the price.
