Beautiful restaurant decor and friendly staff! I had a breakfast poutine "A-lott a-laks" The potatoes are very tasty and crispy on the outside, with a nice portion of smoked dill salmon. Definitely glad that I got half spinach half potato wedges otherwise this would have been too heavy as a breakfast!

Amazing meal and great service! We’ve tried the other locations in calgary and we were super excited to have one opening in the NW. We made reservations for a Sunday morning. I’d highly recommend making a reservation or adding yourself to the waitlist ahead of time as they get quite busy. The space isn’t huge either so there aren’t a ton of tables. We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The presentation and food was outstanding. Everything I’ve ordered at OEB has never left me disappointed. Our coffee and waters were continuously topped up and we never had to wait for server to come by. We got our bills and didn’t feel any rush to leave, however we knew that there were several people waiting for a table so we didn’t stay for too long. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

This isn't my first time coming in to OEB Breakfast. I was thoroughly impressed the other times I showed up, and figured I would leave a review this time. I had one of their signature breakfast poutines. The eggs were done the way I had asked, and the hash had lots of flavor. Portion size was also done right. By far the best breakfast poutine I've tried so far (and I've tried quite a few). When it came to the service, that was also great. Food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The wait list is a little long on the weekend, especially Sunday from what I noticed this morning. However, what else could you expect from a spot that delivers in friendly service, as well as fresh food and flavors ?

Convenient no-wait on weekdays and free 2-hr retail parking in the burgeoning new U-District, OEB’s latest expansion hits the spot! Well-staffed and lively modern decor complete with a diverse and hilariously-written menu. My Get Shorty Rib Poutine was a delicious hefty serving of beef brisket chunks and perfect poached eggs, I doused it in Franks hot sauce and it was bomb. Sis got the meat-less to say poutine and added bacon because of course. Blueberry chicken bangers (chubby sausages) were quite bland but juicy and a nice side. Never thought I’d get the chance to try OEB considering the 2 hour wait for the one in Vancouverβ€” come to find it’s been in Calgary with multiple locations for >10 years! I’ll be back.

Beautiful location with a cool patio, great service, and tasty OEB classics make this our go-to brunch spot in the NW. β€”β€”β€” We stopped by for brunch on a random Friday at about noon; the restaurant was pretty busy but we were seated right away. It might be good idea to book a reservation or get yourself on the waitlist (on their website) beforehand. Service was friendly and the drinks menu was decent; there was a variety of mimosas and mixed drinks, but the beer menu was a little scarce in my opinion. On the food menu you can expect to find the OEB classics; we had the Laks & Laks of Bagel with 1/4 oz sturgeon caviar, a side of smoked bacon and the duck fat fried waffles fries/pommes gaufrettes, and the Get Shorty Rib poutine. The bagel was delicious; smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, and caviar on a crisp outside but chewy bagel makes for an instant classic. I enjoyed the short rib poutine; perfectly done short rib cubes and soft poached eggs, (you get a choice of soft, medium, or hard) paired with crispy duck fat potato wedges/home fries and a decadent hollandaise sauce. The side of bacon was great with the bagel, and the waffle fries were amazingly crispy; honestly better than Carls Jr. waffle fries in my opinion. We were too full for β€œdessert” but next time we’ll definitely try the French Toast Trifle. Such a convenient location with great food and service as you would expect from OEB. Highly recommend it!

Was here on Sunday and made reservations on the same day. This locwtion is smaller than the others ones in the city and s8nce they're always very busy, I highly recommend reserving a table in advance. Everything on their menu sounds so delicious and everytime we have tried anything at OEB we were never disappointed. We were very surprised at how fast our food came out as well, so that was super awesome! Great presentation too! The food was fresh and so tasty! Our server was nice too and was helpful in recommending some dishes as well. Also, I don't know what it is about their coffee that it tastes sooooo good, like it just hits right every time! Will be coming back to this location more often!

This OEB location is really convenient as I no longer need to drive downtown to eat here! There is plenty of seating available here as compared to the other locations so the wait time is not as bad. There are so many options now on their menu and the food never disappoints. Hope to come back here soon to try new food.
