Stopped in to check out an SUV. Parking is very tricky at this place to the unacquainted. So i parked next door. Anyways, I found the vehicle I was interested in, walked around the vehicle numerous times, gazing through the windows, checking tire tread depth, etc, and call me old-fashioned but no one came out so say "Hi" to me. Nothing. Crickets. So i figured "Hey, if they don't want my business, no problem. I'll go elsewhere." And so I left. Funny thing is that this is the 2nd BMW dealership that didn't send out a sales associate to say hi when i was looking at their vehicles. Every other dealership has someone coming to greet me within 2 minutes. Quite a snobby bunch here perhaps. Not recommended.

Had my car service at BMW Nanaimo this morning. Lance lan, help me out, super nice guy. They have the great costumes service there. I missed my appointment and when I called them they gave me the appointment for the next day right away.

I was one of the very first customers of BMW Nanaimo. I bought a car from them on the first day it was opened in 2003. The service was impeccable. Throughout the years my little Valencia orange Z4 attracted hundreds of compliments from total strangers. I wasn’t ready to trade it in. Once again BMW Nanaimo made the transition so smoothly. Zack and Ken are very accommodating. Yaowen is superb! To say Yeowen goes the extra mile is an understatement. He is attentive and intuitive. He understands and anticipates my needs, and is very diligent in meeting them. I have an absolutely wonderful experience getting another car from them.

Took excellent care with my G30 5 Series. Thank you very much to Ashley, one of the service advisors, who kept updating me the status while I was waiting in the showroom and thank you very much to Ben who did the fast yet careful work. Will come back when my ultimate driving machine needs service next time in the future ~

I was visiting my mom for few days and got suddenly worried when we discovered her battery died. As to my surprise, even without having booked an appointment, Lance made the time to promptly fit us in and got everything done!! Lance kindly went over in detail what the car might need in the near future and explained to us in a way that we could understand. He was very transparent and honest. So happy my stay with her was not ruined that I'm helping her write the review:) Clean, friendly dealership!

We purchased our 2018 BMW 330i from BMW Nanaimo in June 2020. One of the big sells by the salesperson was that the warranty was still active for 2 years. We were not informed that the car was actually only in full warranty until Jan 2022. When we brought the car for scheduled service last week, we were informed that the warranty was up and the service was not actually included even though we had been under the impression that we had one warranty service left. Our spark plug and oil/filter change totaled $872. While it was not the service person's fault, his response was "sorry about that" when we were presented with the invoice. When we picked up the car, and left the lot to drive home to Duncan, we immediately noticed that the car hadn't even been washed. This is the first time we had service done at BMW Nanaimo (previous services were done at BMW Victoria) and were very disappointed. This care will NEVER see this dealership again. Our other car is a Mercedes and we have had stellar service at 3 Point Motors for years and excellent service at BMW Victoria. We had only come to Nanaimo as it is geographically convenient for us. It is due for a rear brake job quoted at $1200. BMW Nanaimo will not be doing this work. Very disappointing and expensive experience. **updated march 25 We have come to a resolution with BMW Nanaimo. While BMW Canada was unwilling to help the dealership, the GM in Nanaimo has resolved the situation with us and we are satisfied with what we've agreed to.

Had my car serviced at BMW Nanaimo this morning. Lance Lan, Service Advisor, made the experience very positive. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. He took the time to explain issues & repairs made to my car in a clear and concise way. He also made sure my car was serviced within a couple of hours. In the past I had to wait all day. I was definitely impressed.

They had a new X5 with the option package I wanted but couldn’t find on the mainland. Contacted them and had a deal made within a day. I had to travel from Vancouver to get the car and they even picked me up at the airport. They gave me a great price and everyone at the dealership was pleasant to deal with through the entire process. I would definitely buy another car from them in the future. Thanks Austin, Ken and everyone else who helped out.
