β β β β β I went to Best Buy last Friday to return Xbox as i changed my mind and wanted to go for PS5 instead. I was greeted by Connor, he was very nice and he returned the Xbox without any problem and was kind enough to inform me about other products as well. Once I returned it I went on to buy some thing else and on the checkout counter I met Ajaay, who was equally nice.
The staff at Best Buy is really nice especially Connor and Ajaay and they make you feel like coming back again and again.

β β β β β I came to Best Buy yesterday, April 22nd to see about acqiring a new cell phone as mine had seen its better day. I was introduced to Raymond and he was very helpful in making sure that I got the phone best suited for my needs. Everything was clearly outlined and discussed at length before I purchased. He was very helpful and interactive. A very positive experience. Thank you Raymond.

β β β β β Staff not at all helpful. They stand around and chit chat amongst themselves without paying attention to buying customers.
When I was finally about to get someone's attention, he recommended 2 products, both of which dont work for my lap top. Would have ended up wasting $70 or more on connecting wires and a charger that's not compatible. They dont carry standard stock. Waste of time at this store.

β β β β β Super Impressed with the service received by Alex at the Greek squat.. I blown away by the time he took invoking after my old computer, not been an expensive laptop. And realizing later I had walked in 20 min before the store closed. The attention received was uncomperable. Thank you Alex for looking after me. I'm now tranformed to a loyal customer for all my computer needs.??

β β β β β This is a review of this specific location in Markham. I came in to purchase a TV at around 5:00 PM on May 8, 2022. I left at around 5:25 PM. During my 25 minute stay, there were 4-5 reps just hanging around a desk chit chatting. They were busy ordering take out while using foul language. Totally unprofessional. I saw several customers like myself come and go without even a simple, "hello, how may I assist you today?" At one point, I even overhead one of the representatives saying that clients are better off buying from Amazon!!! I understand that some clients just want to be left alone but it is common courtesy to at least greet us. I sincerely hope that the management at this location can address such issues. What's the point of having 4-5 people just stand around and talk?
On a side note, I have also been to the Newmarket location recently where the experience was the complete opposite. JJ, The Rep took the time to discuss the pros and cons of the various models I was looking at and even went out of his way to play various side by side content to help me with my decision.

β β β β β We visited another Best Buy location, but the TV we were interested in wasnβt available, so we drove to this location.
It took a while for a βblue shirtβ employee to assist us, but he did call for someone to help us. It was our lucky day because we met Noel, a senior advisor. The TV that we were looking for was available, but it wasnβt quite in our price range. I still couldnβt justify the price tag. Noel asked us what we usually view on our TV β regular shows, movies, gaming, action movies, etc. He gave us a run down on all the TVβs and options. It turns out the TV we were interested in wasnβt suited for our purposes. Noel was incredibly patient, and answered all our questions. He never made us feel like any question was too small. He showed us a TV that had everything we were looking for, and it was several hundred dollars less than the one we had our eyes on.
Noel was called away, but another associate helped with payment, which was super-fast. While my husband went to get our car, the associate wheeled the TV to the front entrance. I totally forgot to get his name, but I appreciated that he waited until my husband drove up, and then placed the TV carefully inside our trunk! Now, this is how service should be!

This Best Buy is fairly large, they have a Greek squad available to help you with electronics setup and diagnosis. There's a lot of areas: televisions, vacuums, camera and photography, computers, small kitchen appliances, video games and even drones.
Overall, staff is ok. Recently, there haven't been enough decent deals.
