★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With the current Ontario government COVID-19 lockdown in effect, big box stores like this Rona in Markham are open for business with in-store shopping and curb-side pick-up as well.
The shower in my parents condo needed a replacement plastic faucet handle. The 32-year old handle cracked a few days ago and my dad kept trying to repair it rather than call #1 Son to repair it.
Instead of online ordering & waiting for the pickup email, I drove out to Markham and then returned to Mississauga to install it.
This store was busy so found the closest staff member to ask. Since he didn't know the answer to my question, he called for a plumbing person over the intercom.
Fast forward...we found the part! I found the original staff and thanked him for the help.
Checkout was fast and courteous.
Finally! Shopping in person was exhilarating but the most important thing was that I retained the title of #1 Son!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought something online and went to pick up in store. Loved using their locker system, it was super simple. I just scanned my barcode and the locker door to my product opened which I picked up- no hassle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a frequent of this store. Ben from the electrical appliance department get me the best deals in town and the staff who helped me at Aisle 32 (bolts and nuts ). When we can’t find the right bolts he directed me to brafasco when I got the right bolts for the table legs (I lost the original bolts after moving ).
These are the kind of people I really appreciate who would go extra miles in helping others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into my neighborhood Rona looking for some kitchen door handles. Doug McAdam, a lumber specialist, spotted me trying to find the right aisle. He helped me locate what I was looking for and then politely walked me to an open cashier. I couldn't have had a better shopping experience. Thank you Dave for your superb service and knowledge.

I've never been to this store before and I'm used to having to hunt down staff to try and find stuff in other big box home improvement stores. No less than three staff asked me if they could help me in about five minutes of being in the store. Will definitely be coming back!

This Rona Has Very Knowledgeable Staff Members With A Wealth Of Information And Experience To Help You With Household And Contractor Projects.
The Appliance Options And Information The Staff Member Provided Was Very Helpful.
My Long Project List Also Included Painting. I Was Able To Discuss My Expectations For The Job At Hand With A Staff Member That Guided Me To The Nessasary Products Needed To Achieve Success. (Special Thanks To Benny For All Your Help And Information.)

Service from the staff is great. Though it was a shame some of the items were out of stock. Though this store had items that were out of stock at competitors store as well.
Overall, decent prices, good service.
