Unionville Appliance. What’s good: issue with dryer noise resolved. What’s bad:,Said service call was 75 and parts extra. Seemed fair. What he did not say was he would charge another 80 for labor and another 130 for a $25 part. Total came to 285 plus tax. Very dishonest business.

I had an oven that came with the home that I recently purchased, and one of the elements stopped working. I called Unionville Appliance and explained the problem and they ordered the replacement part for me. They offered step by step advice on how to repair the part as it was a simple fix and it now works perfectly. Thank you Unionville Appliance and Sario for your professionalism and honesty!

After personally troubleshooting a dishwasher issue, Unionville Appliance assisted me in finding the correct Samsung substitute part. Unfortunately the Samsung recommended substitute part would not function properly. Unionville Appliance sent their technician Steve to figure out the issue. After determining a slight modification was needed for the install, Steve had the dishwasher up and running once again. Kudos to the Unionville Appliance team!

Sal and his team at Unionville Appliance are superb. His knowledge about the appliance options and expertise about quality and efficiency were the very best. His pricing was extremely competitive and the service his team offered, delivering to difficult to access basement in downtown Toronto, you could not buy from a better place. I whole heartedly recommend this company and will be using them for all future appliances.

Horrible after sale service - rude, dismissive and contentious. Something has changed in this company. We have purchased quite a few appliance from Unionville Appliance over the years and always had a good outcome from start to finish. I always highly recommended Unionville Appliance when the opportunity arose. But after this experience, with the delivery and subsequent interaction with the delivery guys who were rude, dismissive and very hard to understand. In the future we will warn anyone who may be looking for appliance that the experience has changed tremendously. We complained to Unionville Appliance and the company did not follow up. My long standing business with them and the horrible delivery and customer service I received did not warrant more than that. Did not install machines properly. Did not show us how to use machines. Did not give us time to clean prior to installation like we requested. No interaction or customer service on how to operate machines as was promised from the sales rep. Words on page with no real value from a company that has lost touch with what made them a great company to begin with.

In contrast to some of the reviews seen regarding Unionville Appliance I have had nothing but excellent experiences on two occasions with Sal and particularly the service agent, Max. They were quick to respond to our needs, highly knowledgeable with our dryer and dishwasher, efficient and effective in the repairs as well as reasonable with their pricing. I am associated with Markham Home Hardware and because of my experiences I highly recommend Unionville Appliance to hardware customers who need such service. In that regard I have never received a bad word from these customers and their own experiences.

Buyer beware. Over the past 5 years we have purchased a fridge, stove, microwave, and recently a washer and dryer. Our recent visit to the store was interesting nevertheless. We were greeted by 8 to 10 people just hanging around in front of the store most with no mask which made our purchase this time a little more apprehensive, as we are in our late 50s. Subsequently my husband and our contractor were going to set up machines upon arrival. The salesman was a good talker and conveyed that his workers are professionals and do a great job of setting machines up, testing them and demoing the machines upon completion. We were hesitant, but decided to go ahead with their team of set up and delivery. We had just finished a recent renovation of our laundry room and we were excited for our new purchase to complete our new laundry room. Over the past two weeks with the cold weather, we have had a lot of condensation in our laundry room, even with our exhaust fan running while the machines were being used. So we called our contractor back to evaluate the situation, our thoughts were to upgrade to a larger fan to remove moister from the laundry room. Within 5 minutes our contractor called us into the room and told us that we were wasting our time getting a new fan and then took a picture behind our machines and showed us that the vent that attaches to dryer was never installed properly. So now we need to paint our walls in our laundry room due to improper installation. I recently read a review on here which was written not even a month ago and we had the same poor service. There was also never a demonstration provided from their so called team of experts. Do yourself a favour, If you do purchase from this company make sure you check the work vigorously, as this will cost us a pretty penny to get the laundry room painted for a second time.
