★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality over the years has gone down considerably. Whereas I have many Banana Republic shirts that are over 10 years old that still look great and have worn extremely well, anything I buy nowadays does not last. Shirts lose their shape and pants pill just after a few washes and wearing. Side by side in my closet, a 10 year old Banana Republic shirt looks better than a 1 year old shirt. I suppose in order to compete they’ve had to lower costs at the expense of quality. No longer a fan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Any store that names themselves after a people's enslavement is beyond ridiculous. I can't believe anyone would shop here. Oh wait it's the rich that shop here oh the very people that enslaved a country to meet their needs. What a joke the name needs to be changed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service from this location was discriminatory, sub-standard and unwelcoming. There was no eye contact, no general greeting from staff...The environment was cold and unfriendly. I was about to make a purchase, but decided against it because of the way I was treated. I will not be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were great, I wish the sizing wasn’t so short though, mens fit used to be much better. I’d guess the people writing negative comments about customer service are probably clueless that Covid has affected service staff levels… I’m sure it was traumatic not getting greeted, must be tough spending daddy’s dirty money all day, everyday. Sigh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at Banana Republic in the Mayfair Mall in Victoria today was less than pleasant. I was not properly greeted, no eye contact was made, and I felt shoved out of the way by staff and customers when i was trying to look at the merchandise. I won’t darken their doors again.
