β β β β β My first time experience with AVIS was simply superb. I will definitely encourage everyone to do business with AVIS.
I was a bit confused initially on the pickup location. But believe me it is easy. Take any bus that will go to Pearson Airport terminal 1 ground level. Cross the road and go straight inside the parking lot and follow the signs. It's simple. Most of the car rentals are located here.
Now, talking about my first experience, I got a Nissan Rogue and I loved driving it. The car was nice and clean when they gave it to me. Millage was good. Stuffs were very helpful and I never experienced any problem at all while dealing with them. Rent was bit high but considering the demand I can't complain. Overall 5 start from me and will surely look forward to do more businesses with them.

β β β β β I booked a car for 3 weeks but when I went to pickup, they gave the car showed need to change the oil. I asked for change and they did, then the second one showed the same information. Then the third one showed maintenance required. So far I wasted 2 and half hours with them and the stuff just told me they have no other cars can give me but if I donβt want to take all of these car showed something wrong, they will take the cancellation fee with me. I donβt know why itβs so hard to rent a normal car with this company just like I rented with Enterprise or thrifty before.

β β β β β Absolutely terrible service at the Pearson airport. They say they're open til 1am but I called at 12:30am to get my car reserved before they left and they didn't answer. Absolutely ridiculous that a 24 hour airport where people can have delays or flight cancelation can't staff someone 24/7.

β β β β β My experience with Avis car rental (Toronto Airport Location) was really disappointing. First of all, they gave me a Volkwagon Jetta and after a week of driving, It showed waring saying low coolent level which should've checked before giving it to any customer. I tried calling them so many times they didn't pick so I had to drove 1 hour to get the car fixed at their location. Then they gave me a Toyota Camary, I started, It gave a warning saying maintenance required. Third car they gave me was Volkswagon Tiguan. The moment I went out of their location, the car gave warning saying low tire pressure which I thought will fix once i go home. Later I figured the tire is punctured. This is totally disgusting as I won't be able to drive to work until I get this issue resolved. Totally worst experience.

β β β β β The checkin was simple and the people courteous. The only issue was I tried to pay online and their computer wouldn't take my address. I paid at the counter but unfortunately had to pay an extra $10 by no fault of my own. I think they should have gave me the online rate since it wasn't my fault.

β β β β β I have rented from this location at numerous times over the years, lately, it has become unreliable with the cars that are given arenβt kept up and you identify issues and requires multiple swaps before you get an acceptable car. The employees get visibly frustrated with the swaps, but, do nothing to maintain the fleet so that is not required. Recently had a terrible experience where was given a car with broken suspension and wipers, and when I returned 5 mins later for a swap, the employee became visibly upset about me not accepting a car with broken suspension and wipers. Strange new world to be in.
