In the past, I have not been able to rely on the vet. Some have been very competent while others made errors. As a result I do not bring my pets here anymore. However, I would like to say that Atlas Animal Hospital is a great place to buy prescription pet food. The prices are really good and the staff are knowledgeable about the food. If you don't come during peak hours you can park right outside the door.

They were really friendly, caring and fast...I brought in my new 7week old pomchi for a quick check up. They accept walk-ins and provide great services.

Went to Atlas to have my dog Mara spayed, no appointment needed, dropped her off in the morning and picked her up later the same day.My local vet wanted to charge me almost 2 1/2 times as much as Atlas. The price included the follow up visit and stitches removal. It is worth the drive for me to come from Tsawwassen to see them. Happy with the service I received from front desk to the doctor. Thanks Atlas.

We went to Atlas last weekend when our young (1.5 y/o) Chocolate Lab started vomiting around 11PM. It became quite an emergency when she started to puke blood at midnight and we rushed over to Atlas. The vet saw us immediately upon arrival and went through a physical exam and prepared us for the worst case scenario. The vet was able to perform blood work and x-rays within 45 minutes of our arrival to narrow down her diagnosis. We had to leave our pup overnight and she was hooked up to IV. The vet then was kind enough to provide us an update at 5AM as soon as she knew more. We phoned in frequently the entire next day for updates, and they were able to send us all of the reports immediately. We were also able to go in to 'visit' with our dog during the day to make sure that she was doing okay. I am so thankful to the team at Atlas for making sure our pup was alright and for immediately attending to her, it likely saved her life. Because she was so ill and on IV she stayed for two days at Atlas and they kept her comfortable on blankets near where they were working in the back. The vets provided us with all the answers we were looking for and never made us feel like they were rushing off which we appreciated. You do need to ask questions when you go here, and push the front staff a bit for information, but if you are friendly to the staff at Atlas, then you get nothing but kindness in return. They even gave us a follow up call the next day to check in. Thank you Atlas for saving Nala!

I cannot say enough about the quality of service and care we have received each time our family has brought our dogs here. We recently added two puppies to our family (my parents have one sibling and we have the other), and at each vaccination appointment the vets take great care in providing a full physical in addition to the vaccination... they also give a little snuggle to the puppies once the vaccination is complete! I love the convenience of not requiring an appointment and the parking right out front. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to help us take care of our fur babies!

I was shopping around for a vet to neuter my healthy one year old male cat. After running into the vet medical cartel, namely oh first we need an exam oh $100 then I asked how much is that very simple routine procedure? One vet said it depends...well i wonder on what, like how many balls he has, or what kind of day you have? Let alone the fact that it is very traumatic for a cat to go to the vet, why 2 separate appointment, it is not an open heart surgery. The other vet quoted between 400to 600 dollars. Again how can you not know. It is a simple laser surgery. So then atlas came highly recommended. They saw me the next day. Just brought my cat home from the surgery. He already ate and seems to be doing ok. Highly recommend. Stay away from the vet medical cartel!

Very experienced vet. I need no fancy clicnic but a place that can direct tell me what my dogs need for treatment. My golden passed away in 3 days after diagnosed with liver cancer n hospitalized 2 days in Atlas. It was real hard for me to accept the fact while my golden had behaved normal than usual until the day he started not eating n panting heavily. Long story short, vet had not taken advantages in this stage to keep him unnecessary medicated. For my other dog a chowchow, also diagnosed with malignant cancer, originally I was focusing on his limb n Atlas vet told me what was urgent to be taken care of , without spending on unnecessary treatment or operation. They r great n experienced vet who truly think what's best for your family members.

Our kitty is a trouble maker so we know vets and this is one of the best places. Reasonable prices and allowed us to come inside to hold our kitty. This reduced the stress for our little guy. Very straightforward staff. Gave us concrete choices how to treat.
