Boris reached out to their US contact and got the dress in 2 months ahead of what the other stores said was the earliest they could get my order in. Very happy to have now received my dress!!

I am from Nanaimo, and I was expecting to get the dress in 2-3 months, instead it took them 9 months, they continuously unprofessionally ignored my moms phone calls, would say the dress was coming in “two weeks”, ( they said that for four months straight). Last week it finally came in, so my family and i travelled to Vancouver to try it on, at my first visit they took my measurements but the straps on me are way too big and prior to getting my dress a MONTH before prom after ordering it almost over a year ago is horrible, and the sales lady was in a rush and did not help me. Really would not recommend here!!

I found the dress on instagram after it showed up as an ad in my feed by the designer. I found After 5 as a company that sold the brand/designer so made the trip from Kamloops to Richmond to see if I would be able to get it. They didn’t have the one I wanted but I was able to try on the designer and figure out my size. They contacted the company to see if they could order the dress I wanted for me and were able to get it for me on a rush order. Thank you so much for helping me get my dream dress and making me feel like the most special person on my birthday. I truly felt like I was in a fairytale wearing my dress. I will definitely come back next time I have an event and need a dress.

I was eventually told it was arriving April 30th. I escalated my dissatisfaction with the manufacturer who agreed to send me a larger size. No apology in fact they wanted sympathy from me being affected by shipping delays! No suggestion of paying for the alterations. What did they think?! Never ever will I recommend this store!! Responding to the owner’s reply is that there should’ve been better follow up and communication from the retailer - that is their responsibility. Plus empathy and perhaps accommodation as to my added expense for alterations. I received nothing.

The dress arrived and that day I took it to my seamstress. Although I was very nervous and that's an understatement about ordering online as I'm definitely not a standard size I was very happy with the fit and look of the dress. A bit snug but that's Covid weight and gym workouts should alleviate some of the extra lbs I'm carrying from working at home and far less movement per day. When they suggest ordering a size up they mean it Ladies!!!!! Designers shouldn't make clothes so small in sizing as it makes us all feel fat!!!! LOL!!!! I wouldn't hesitate to order from After Five again. I was impressed by the number of dresses that were shown on their website. THANK YOU AFTER FIVE for making me happy to find the perfect dress for my daughter's upcoming beach wedding.
S	Sara Sassi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With scheduled appointment we went to After Five for my daughter's prom dress. Mrs. Susan was really helpful and fast. Managing 2-3 girls and ladies at the same time with efficiency and experience, handling change of dresses and sizes until we (and I seen, the other ladies too), found the perfect dress. The dress arrived home with the mail even earlier than the dateline. The only little remark is that for the price of those fancy dresses the seamstress for the length adjustment should be included in the price.
