Acclaimed! Heating, Cooling, & Furnace Cleaning - Edmonton

Have been using this company for years. Had a new A/C put in last year, new furnace just last month. Couldn't have been happier. Was a two day install due to an older house and some workarounds but the crew was so professional and didn't go one penny over budget despite lots of extra work. Made sure we had heat before they left the first day. Even the estimators here aren't pushy and said I could probably wait but I wanted the security of a new furnace in case of future travel. A class act company. Will continue to use and recommend to all.

Today my car got stuck in my back alley, and 6 of your employees came to my rescue. It didn't take them long to realize I was stuck, and probably needed a hand. I was so impressed by the professionalism, and their willingness to help. I wish I would have gotten their names, so I could thank them by name through this review. These young men were such a great representation of your company. Thank you to them for getting me to work on time!

We had the worst experience with this company. We called them asking to repair a blower motor and Ed came out, opened the furnace panel, spun the blower motor, closed the furnace and started listing all the parts to replace and charged us $208 diagnostic fee. No other company would charge such a high diagnostic fee for absolutely nothing and less than 10 minutes of work. Later on, he sent a quote with flat rates and no break down on labor or parts. We found the same parts direct from the manufacturer for less than half of what he quoted too. This company is an absolute rip off!

I've been a customer of Acclaimed! for the last 5-10 years and have always been pleased with their service. Their staff recently completed a fairly major repair on my furnace (not as major as a replacement!) and did so efficiently and quickly, definitely putting my mind at rest before the winter. I can't recommend Acclaimed! highly enough. Thanks guys!

This is a great company if you are thinking of/talking about getting work done without every actually doing it. We bought a house in the fall and our home inspector recommended Acclaimed after the inspection showed clogged furnace ducts. It took about 6 weeks for us to get an appointment, which I think is normal for that season. When the technician arrived, they pointed out a patch of asbestos tape on the furnace that the inspector had missed, and they couldn't do the duct cleaning for safety reasons. That sounded fair. The technician told me that because our inspector had missed it, I wouldn't be charged the fee for the call out. After some texting back and forth and sending photos of the asbestos to Acclaimed, they confirmed it looked like a job they could take care of but needed to send someone in person to assess it. The closest appointment was two months away. I waited two months and booked that afternoon off work. When no one arrived, I called the company and found out that my appointment was never entered in the system (in spite of me having it in writing/text). I had waited two months and booked time off for an appointment that never existed. To their credit, they did re-book fairly quickly, and someone came out the following week. I almost missed that appointment as well because the technician went to the wrong address, and I had to leave for work. He had a quick look and told me he would send me an appraisal for the work to be done, but that the cost would include the initial fee for the visit in the fall when we first found out about the asbestos (despite being told I wouldn't be charged, and despite me missing an afternoon of work for a non-existent appointment). It has now been a month since his visit. I'm not sure how long it normally takes to receive an appraisal for a 30 x 30 cm piece of asbestos tape, but I guess I expected to hear something by now. I have never had to work so hard to give a company my business. From all the other great reviews, I feel like we might be those customers who fell between the cracks (repeatedly). I will mention that they technicians who entered my house were polite and professional. It's just that nothing has come from months worth of phone calls, appointments, and texts. We are now heading into spring no further ahead than when we first moved in.

Acclaimed sent Dustin to give us a quote. He was fast and the quote was accurate. They were able to get a crew in to install the furnace the next week. The entire team was professional and nice, and the customer service was top notch. Will go back to them when it’s time for central AC or a new hot water heater.

When my furnace failed, Keven came out right away and did a thorough inspection. He recommended that I needed to get a new furnace and gave me a detailed estimate. Acclaimed provided electric heaters while waiting for my new furnace. Right on time, a few days later, Michael and Julian arrived to install the furnace. They were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, keeping me informed with their progress. I am extremely happy with my new high efficiency furnace and would not hesitate to recommend Acclaimed in the future. Thank you also to Karly for her excellent communication.
