Beautiful location and very efficient staff. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Medallion is quality. You get what you pay for - paragon security, Spider-Man like Superintendents, breath taking views, etc. Yeah the list would probably never end.

Amazing staff! You can tell as soon as you walk into their rental office. They don’t focus on just β€œleasing” condos but rather creating an experience that brings people back with a cheque. I would know - it happened to me. I’m thrilled with my new Condo. It’s high up in the sky and I’ll never get bored of the view!

Upon entering to enquire for a new home, the ambiance that is displayed is very welcoming and warm. The customer service is beyond expectations from Medallion’s staff. The staff is very detailed oriented and makes the process seem less. I for one am sold to a new home and knowing that I have a friendly staff at my aid, should an opportunity arise. Thank you, Medallion for a great experience. This experience should be shared to all. I am sure to recommend to anyone in need of a new home and I invite all who read this testimonial that you would not regret a fresh start.

I just rented my new apartment here! Very excited! The building is really beautiful with great amenities. The neighborhood is nice and super convenient. But most importantly I really enjoyed working with the staff at the rental center. Everyone here is kind, welcoming, and helpful. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in the door. Blake is very knowledgeable about the buildings and gave great advices. He is warm and eager to help. Gina, the manager in the office, is a decisive and great problem-solver. She helped me during my check-in and made sure that everything was done perfectly for me. Very grateful for her help and professionalism! All in all, a very positive experience and certainly would recommend others to work with these wonderful staff. Plus, they always have nice candies there ?

Excellent location in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Well designed and modern building, with affordable living spaces. The full length windows and balconies offer very scenic views of the city. Love the secure basement parking. The rental office staff are attentive, polite, courteous and always ready to help.

Highly recommend this lovely location! The rental office staff are wonderful and provide excellent customer service. They are professional and experienced, and go above and beyond to help you. Great area and a friendly and safe neighbourhood in the beautiful city close to grocery stores, restaurants, and public transport (TTC). The building itself exceeds expectations with modern and affordable living spaces, a lovely balcony view of the city, exceptional cleanliness, secure basement parking, kind and welcoming staff and residents, and an overall great ambiance. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

The rental office has a hardworking and friendly staff, you are always welcomed with a smile. Lonnie at the rental office has been helping us out with amending and signing a lease and she has been terrific! There can be some communication confusion between the different offices at times but that's not a major concern and aside from that it has been a great experience so far! Would recommend!

Don't be fooled by the vague positive reviews. Rather, ask yourself why someone with 0-2 other reviews would decide to review this company. Look for what they say about the actual units and building life. Not the staff they wave to, not how easy it was to secure a lease, not the proximity to external perks, but what the actual apartment life has to offer. Now look at the timespan between review date and company response. When they say they're doing alarm testing it means that *IN ADDITION* to regular alarm tests (that occur once every few days to once every 3 weeks), that for most of a week, every single unit will have the same loudspeaker, P.A.-type alarm blasting for a minimum of 6 hours, for four days straight. Even after maintenance has done their 5-minute yearly test on your unit's smoke detector and has concluded that both it and the loudspeaker alarm is in working order. It's against your contract to tamper with, alter or muffle the alarm, even though if it's going off for several hours that means it's not actually alerting anyone to anything, just that the sound is working. For six hours. So if you have dependents with special needs, you have special needs yourself, work from home, you practice any instruments, you do shift work and need rest, it's your infant's naptime, you need a place to study or do homework, watch lectures, cook, clean, read, have conference calls, you have small projects, value reasonably quiet enjoyment of your rental, need to etc. this is not a conducive place for you to live. How much notice do you get about the alarms, shutdowns, closures? Less than a week. Management often keeps the community mail alcove disastrously messy, with fliers and private mail strewn about on the ledges and on the floor. You will frequently find residents' letter mail, small parcels and large box packages have been left outside of the locked mail boxes and outside of the large package lockers, out in the open, on the benches where anyone could take it -- and there is no key or fob needed in order to enter the mail area. If you see mail in the open, look at the unit on the label and look for the appropriate mailbox, the box is usually empty. So management allows mail to be frequently left in the open while not installing a designated slot for mail placed in the wrong mailbox. You will also frequently see residents' mail left on the benches in the unsupervised lobby, within direct sight of the front main doors (clear glass). In fact, you will find that residents post notices inquiring about missing/clearly stolen mail quite frequently. While management has taped notices about not letting packages get delivered to the lobby, they also do not maintain the actual, designated mail area in a professional way. Please consider this before you sign. Editing to respond to owner response to my other review: Thank you for responding. This tells me that you might care about solutions, so I'll continue to help: You seem unaware of the volume level of your loudspeaker alarms. I encourage you to spend 8 hours in a unit during one such prolonged test day session from start to finish, in the same room as a speaker alarm. You cannot tamper with or muffle the alarm, so for your safety, bring earplugs. Bring some work or reading with you. By the end I don't expect that you'll continue to classify what I've written above as "inconvenience". As owners, you can apply existing mechanisms that meet standards of safety while not torturing your tenants and their children. You can apply silent alarms for testing days, you can limit testing to floor by floor or unit by unit. If you truly have committed to resident safety as you wrote, I'll help you out: Alarms function by stressing people into action. Frequent alarms become The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and your tenants have come to ignore real alarms as a result. You are welcome for my review.
