I have trained at a few other schools, but this is the first that focuses not only on how to have better technique, but how to be a better person as well. It is truly amazing at this school and I would recommend it to anyone.

β β β β β Combative Wing Chun Vancouver is the only school with the "Accelerated Wing Chun Program" that teaches chinese kung fu and culture and realistic self defense in a family-friendly atmosphere! And it's probably the most fun you'll ever have in a martial arts school!

β β β β β Due to my previous (martial arts) training, I started out disbelieving many of the things I was being told, such as the ability to strike with a great deal of force using the Wing Chun punch or palm strike. Over time, these things have proven to be very true. The system is unique in the way striking force is developed using relaxation and technique rather than physical strength. It is also unique in the way threatening forces are absorbed rather than fought against.

However, since I started taking Wing Chun classes, I'm confident I can defend myself. You learn to push yourself more and more and that is something that can be applied to all aspects of life. I highly recommend this place to learn Wing Chun.

β β β β β I have been to 2 Sunday classes at Combative Wing Chun so far and I'm really enjoying learning this Martial Art. There is a lot to learn... many techniques which are taught in way that isn't just going through the motions. I plan to go regularly.

β β β β β Excellent for self defense. My 2 week old son was getting bullied in his day care, so I was looking for child martial arts classes. I found this place and around 3 weeks in, my son has now moved on to the Shaolin temple. He's now challenging all the martial arts masters across China.

β β β β β I've been training BJJ for a couple of years and I was looking for a place where I can improve my striking skills and I wanted to learn Wing Chun. I tried out this place and it has been great so far. They're great both for beginners and for advanced martial artist like me. The trainers are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is hands on. The place is nice and clean and the facilities and equipment are good.
