Sensei Alex Pappas is a talented instructor, treats everyone with respect, and genuinely works to make sure that his students are learning and making progress. His classes are well-prepared in advance so that all levels of student present can benefit. Class sizes usually range from 5-10 students. Class content covers a wide range of exercises, conditioning, and practical self-defence in a variety of situations. No matter what level of experience I've been at during my time at this dojo, I've learned a lot from Sensei Pappas and had a fun time. I'd highly recommend it if you're interested in learning about practical self-defence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I like about this class is that it teaches you how to neutralize a potentially dangerous person, without causing undue harm. Alex Pappas really taught complex techniques well and broke them down into easy steps. The class teaches discipline and doing the moves correctly so as to avoid injury. I really appreciate that Alex takes so much of his time to teach us these valuable techniques.
