Just popped in to fix a minor issue (broken valve core) on my mountain bike. Received fast, friendly service.

Literally the best shopping experience I have ever had. Everyone I dealt with, from my initial phone call, through every back-and-forth email, until the test ride and purchase, was 10/10. Amazing service, and as someone who works in the service industry myself, I am so incredibly impressed with their in-house communication. This shop is clearly a well-oiled machine! Customer for life!

The service at West Point Cycles on 10th is killer. Not only are all the staff super approachable and knowledgable, their turnaround time for servicing bikes and getting people back out on the road is so quick. As someone who is dependent on their bike for getting anywhere and everywhere, I appreciate this greatly. The staff are also always willing to talk you through what they plan on doing/what they did to service your bike as well as give you tips for maintaining your bike yourself. Each experience I've had going to West Point Cycles has been amazing and they will continue to be my go-to bike shop and service. Thank y'all, keep up the awesome work!

I really like westpoint cycles. I live in Richmond, and will make the effort to come out to support this store. The staff are knowledgable, accommodating, and really put their customers needs first. During the pandemic, there was a huge demand for bikes, and the store's customer service was not compromised at all. They had clear communication with me on my pre-order and were accommodating on when I picked up my bike. Very lovely staff and understanding. I highly recommend this store.

This place will try to oversell you repairs you don't need. Great place if you are rich and willing to throw money at small problems, not so great if you are a student trying to maintain & repair instead of replace. I brought my bike in to get my fork replaced, which was done well. However, upon picking it up I was told that my crankset and cassette were both in need of replacement as they had been heavily worn down. Weird, because this is month old bike that had just been refurbished. Tried to tell me the chain also needed replacing, but backed off when I called them on it (it was brand new). I also hadn't noticed any chain skipping issues prior to bringing it in. I bring the bike in to a different bike place, and they tell me that there is nothing wrong with the crankset except for a minor bend which they straighten out with pliers in 5 minutes. Both cassette and crankset are determined to be slightly worn but not in need of replacement. The bike works just fine now! I don't appreciate being tricked into dishing out loads of money, as I'm sure nobody does.

I remember buying a Rocky Mountain bike from this place way way back when they were a Rocky dealer. It truly is a piece of history. Although I don't own any Trek bikes (I have many friends that do though) this is my shop for picking up consumables and parts for doing my own repairs/maintenance at home (I used to go to Dizzy Cycles for tune ups because that's the shop that sold me my other bike). The staff are good, maybe not all super technical but they run a good shop and are helpful. I know 2 people that are still very happy with their Domane 4.3's and it's making me consider getting a Slash as my next bike because of the buying experience and customer service they got. The complimentary 1-2 month break in tune up is a good value added service especially for people that aren't technical and don't know what to do as their parts "settle in" (dialing in cable adjustments and re-checking bolt/screw torques, etc.). Only complaint that I can really say is that booking for service can be tough during high season so you almost need to plan ahead a week or two when you think your bike is getting to the point of needing a deluxe tune up or complete overhaul.

The folks at West Point Cycles are fantastic! They’re both knowledgeable and friendly. I live in Ontario and recently ordered a bike from them and the process couldn’t have gone smoother. They helped me pick out accessories over the phone and packed everything into a bike box so a family member could pick up my order on my behalf. Throughout the process, I asked a lot of questions and everyone I spoke with was patient and seemed genuinely happy to help. I only wish they had a shop closer to me so I could have access to them all of the time!

This bike shop is truly the best. My bike always feels like new after tune ups. I recently purchased a new bike from them and the customer service has been amazing. I have been in and out of the store many times over the past month to make small adjustments to the bike and the staff has been incredible helping me out throughout that process. They have been very committed to making sure my new bike fits me perfectly. Thanks West Point Cycles!
