Such wonderful group of people working at this office! From the admin team to the lovely midwives. Highly recommend them! We had a wonderful experience with both our babies

I had my second daughter (4months ago) with west end midwives. Everyone in the office was nice, friendly, caring and helpful. To the point that it was raining and I had to pay for parking they watched my newborn so I could get change from the machine and go back out and pay. The midwives were amazing. We had Shâdè & Arian, the backup midwife Heather was great too and Mary the clinic midwife was amazing. Would recommend them to anyone considering having a midwife.

Adrianna and Linda were absolutely incredible!!! I decided to go with WEM for my second pregnancy and I wasn't sure what to expect. After dealing with trauma and being with a high-risk clinic throughout my first pregnancy, I wasn't sure what to expect with WEM. Linda and Adrianna were extremely compassionate, kind, caring, so knowledgeable and extremely professional. They took time to ensure that they answered all my questions and made me feel at ease every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, smooth and perfect birthing experience with Linda and Lori (midwife student). The staff in the office were also so lovely and made me feel so welcome at each visit. Overall, such an amazing experience!! I can't recommend this team enough. I'm sad to be discharged!!

I want to say thank you so much  to all of my midwifes from team E who supported me during the whole pregnancy.   It was a pleasure for me to be a patient there.   They  were listening to me very carefully  with strong attention to my requests . You can make sure that they would help you with anything that you may ask. All my questions and hesitation were completely answered. A  few times I had an emergency where I have been accepted by Rita at Humber River Hospital right away to ensure I am being assessed properly. I am very very grateful to her for that. Also Rita, Lori and a student Isabella were the ones who made the birth very smooth with good and pleasant experience. After the delivery my baby was seen several times by Elaine and a student Isabella for a few days wich is very convenient especially when you have the fist baby and a lot of questions and concerns. All 6 weeks my midwifes were with me and my baby. Should I have any questions I called their emergency line and was getting prompt advise. After 6 weeks, me and my baby had the last appointment in clinic, where we were fully checked up and discharged. For the next time, it would be a pleasure for me to have my future second baby in this clinic especially with the team E . Only good experience and complete satisfaction with my midwife Team E. I had an amazing experience with West End Midwives! Team C (Soheyla, Ren and Mary) were amazing people and I felt extremely comfortable in their care. Ren attended my birth and even though I had to have an emergency C section she stayed with us the whole time and was always available when I had questions. I am so thankful for Soheyla as well who came to visit us several times at home post-partum. I had a few post-partum complications and she was available at anytime I needed her and always gave me the information/recommendations that I needed. Mary was also very informative and caring in my office visits. I genuinely felt that she cared for my well being not just with the pregnancy but moving forward in my post-partum life. She was a great help with lactation advise and baby care advice. Thank you so much team C you made my first pregnancy very memorable!

I had my son here with the main midwife being Ashley Smith, she was very good at her job and helped me throughout my delivery and even after she was amazing. I would definitely love to have another baby with the care of a West End Midwife

I had Linda and Adrianna took care of my first pregnancy. They cared and treated me like their family. It was very hard for my in first pregnancy when I had no family around. I still feel so appreciated for what they have done to me and my baby.

I waited a long time to write this review. I made sure I completed my postpartum period with another clinic so that I could clearly compare and write this honest review. At my first appointment at West end midwives, the midwive's first comment was that I was there too early in my pregnancy. I told her that it was her receptionist that had booked my appointment based on the dates I provided and she should deal with her if she thought I was wasting her time. I already felt unwelcomed at this clinic. Next appointment: this same midwife went on to tell me that a naturopath was not a real doctor and that I was better off going to another physician. I wasn't happy about that because my decision to use a naturopath was not being respected. At this point, I reached out to their clinic and asked to switch to another team since I clearly had differences with this particular midwife. Their reply was that it was best for me to go to another clinic. Instead of working with me they thought it was better to send me off. This might not sound like much but this attitude during a birth when things can go wrong very quickly will result in a catastrophe. The midwives cannot handle disagreement or anything that doesn't go along the script that they are used to. Birth does not work that way. I imagine these midwives would be either hiding or running around if a bump appeared during your pregnancy/birth. Also, the receptionists... I don't know whether to give you a therapist's phone number or encourage you to quit. There is more to life than working a job you clearly despise. Luckily, I found myself at a much much better midwifery clinic where the midwives treated everyone with respect and supported naturopathic treatment if that is what was preferred by the client. I went on to a have a great birth with midwives that COULD handle challenges.
