The midwives and students that have been part of my pregnancies have all been AMAZING human beings. Marlene, was very knowledgeable and super calm. She reassured me and made me feel great. She was amazing/ patient during my first labor & delivery. Kathy, what a sweet heart she delivered my second baby and I think we were both beyond happy about that. She was so excited to meet my little one as was I. So knowledgeable and definitely had the midwife personality if that makes sense. She was always on top of my care. THANK YOU SO MUCH ?

The midwives here provide the perfect blend of homey, nurturing environment and quality, evidence based care. They spring into action like superheroes but also know what to do if you need a hug and a cry. They know exactly what they can provide and what is beyond their scope so you're always getting the appropriate care. Marlene and Linda feel like family to us and make us excited to return in the future!

And we can’t thank our midwife Kathy enough for her compassionate care, which at times, went above and beyond. With her encouraging presence, we were fortunate to have a natural birth at the Birthing Center. We highly recommend Kathy and the whole group at Riverdale midwives.

Sara was the pillar of strength I needed in my most intense moments of labour. Under her care I never felt like I was being pushed into anything, I never felt like I wasn’t being heard and I always felt like she had my best interests at heart. During labour Sara took control when I needed her to, and post-labour she slotted into our lives to the point where she is now missed. The second midwife, Laura, who assisted In the birth of our son Hunter also bought a valuable calm energy. I barely noticed (which is what I needed) she was there except when she offered support. Even the receptionist Vanessa is really lovely. I honestly cannot put into words how much Sara and RM means to me. She helped me bring my son into the world at home safely and without medication which was my hope and intention. If you get Sara on your journey into parenthood you will be very lucky. Thank you Sara and thank you Riverdale Midwives.

We even met with other midwives when Cate was out and they were all terrific. Overall I am super happy we went the mid wife route!

My birth did not go as planned (I had an emergency c section) and they were with me every step of the way. i was really happy with the pre- natal and post partum support. They are all very understanding and knowledgeable. If they are in your vicinity don't hesitate to make this choice.
