★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eating at Van Son and also first time trying out Vietbamese food period. I had the Deep fried wontons and spring rolls with the number 42 . Pork chop & eggs with rice and it was pretty good I must say. The service was great and the meal was hot and came out fast. Hope this helps you in deciding if you should try this place or not.

Not only have I been here at least 20 times over the last two years, with nothing but great reviews, but tonight especially, our waiter was fantastic!
He made our experience especially amazing!
I will always recommend VanSon (Chestermere) !! Always, a really, really trusted place with amazing food, and constant quality!
Everything about this little hole in the wall, even a during our Covid fears, was a perfect dining out experience!!
Our waiter tonight was impeccable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New to the community and thought we would give this place a try, the reviews were good and the place seemed busy so we figured why not.
The food was blah, soggy spring rolls and very, very salty soup. Mediocre at best – which is fine, I can accept that because sometimes Vietnamese food can be hit and miss depending on who is cooking.
Except that it made me incredibly sick within an hour of eating it. Let's just say it tasted the same going down as it did coming up.
Will not eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time at Van Son. Wow! The food is amazing! I had the Delux Vermicelli Bowl and a fresh mango bubble tea. It all was so good. If you don't live in Chestermere, you have to come out and try it; you won't be disappointed ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really like the food and the servers are polite. We eat here 2-4 times a month and there's mistakes every so often but it's nothing severe enough that we stop coming back. Usually just forgotten drinks, dirty cups or letting one meal come out while the other is 10 mins behind. All in all we keep coming back because the food quality is reliable compared to similar restaurants.
Updated: won't be back.
