★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in with a friend, was not really shopping for myself. Staff were very friendly and outgoing. Asked a question to one staff, she admitted to not knowing the answer but right away went to other staff to find the answer.
After completing my purchase gave the manager?? a letter looking for donations for a silent auction. They were quick to offer up their support. This was an added bonus. Urban Barn is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. So many unique pieces

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience shopping for a couch and pillows at Urban Barn in Red Deer. I visited the store almost weekly for over a month debating which couch was right for me. I dealt with probably everyone who works there and everyone was incredibly patient and helpful. I am very indecisive and I never felt pressure; each time I went they were welcoming and helpful. I finally decided on a couch, and then they helped me choose pillows as well. Everyone really went above and beyond.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased our first new couch at Urban Barn in Red Deer and we are VERY happy with it, the service, and how we were able to go about our furniture shopping experience in its entirety at the Red Deer store.
Michelle and Leah were both amazing to work with - they made us feel comfortable trying out different couches, sitting, looking, and learning from them without feeling pressured or 'stalked' around the shop as other big box stores made us feel. Michelle even stayed open for us to make it into the city on sale day, as we don't live in Red Deer. Her understanding and accommodation was not matched by other nearby furniture stores.
Our Canadian-made couch arrived sooner than expected (even amidst pandemic shipping delays) and they were very flexible about us picking it up a bit later than anticipated, as we were away on holiday. The spill policy for new couches also sold us! I would easily recommend Urban Barn Red Deer to anyone looking to buy quality pieces for their home. I will only be shopping here in the future (so long Brick & Ashley). You just can't beat the service and quality. Thanks Leah and Michelle!

Today I leaned that they do NOT recognize medical disabilities. Refused service to me. Parking lot demonstrates this adequately. #discrimination
