★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience of my life. Waited 2 months for my desk to come and was damaged. Another month to have it replaced. Nobody likes to call back. Manager at the store is rude and when you voice your concerns he hangs up. Ashley head office is more concerned about getting money as opposed to fixing the issues at hand. No calls back except the ones to actually replace the desk. I will never buy furniture from this place again. I flip houses and this was a horrible first experience. Covid has nothing to do with this problem

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. On Feb 3 my new sofa was delivered and the delivery driver backed into my house damaging the fascia, wood trim, decorative moulding etc. It is now May 4 & I am still nowhere with them. It took over a month to finally get the claims person to call me after dozens of calls to guest care, my salesperson, store manager. When the claims person did finally call he said I’m so busy I have over 150 claims on my desk… I told him he probably shouldn’t tell people that because it sure doesn’t in-still confidence in their company! They have forced me to get 3 quotes now myself, because they don’t want to pay. Each time I have to take time off of work to meet these contractors. In my opinion, they should be the ones arranging for these quotes. I could write a short novel about the last 3 months.
As a customer the only number you have access to is guest care, and they can only read what is on their computer. When I asked if I could have the claims phone # or email I was told and I quote “ the staff at Ashley’s are under no obligation to speak to customers”!!! You can only speak to guest care.
Disgusting Service!!! If you want to shop here …. beware!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our Experience at the Red Deer Ashley Home Store was awesome. We spoke with Brendan and Chris in store and all was good. The two young gentlemen that delivered our furniture were also awesome. They were lively and put things just where we wanted them. Thumbs up all around!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a couch at Ashley from Dennis. He was amazing. Super knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Definitely won’t be buying anywhere else. Had to get some furniture repaired and the tech Dwayne was also super helpful. If I ever need anything they are the people I see. Thanks again guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have previously purchased a bed from Ashley and couldn't be happier with it. The service from Pete was off the charts! He helped me at every turn. Took his time making sure what I got was exactly what I wanted and there were no hidden fees or surprises! So when it was time for a new couch I once again went to Pete, and Ashley furniture. I found exactly what I wanted, the price was perfect, and again, the service was spectacular. Pete answered everything I asked, he directed me away from certain items he didn't feel I would be happy with (and he was right). Just nothing but great. Thanks Pete once again and I'll be back in the future I'm sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time in an Ashley store and we were impressed with the variety of products available. Having purchased some Ashley furniture in the past we were aware of their quality. The sales staff at the Red Deer location were very friendly and helpful and there was no pressure to purchase and that was the way we like to deal with sales people. We did purchase a very nice 3 piece coffee & end table set for our new home.
We would recommend visiting this location.. we had great customer service from Peter Demaat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: We ended up canceling our order, the wait time ended up being too long (Nov to January, maybe) which we thought we could wait it out without a couch.. we thought wrong. Well.. we called and our once wonderful sales person was less than ideal to deal with. Came off rude. Said we would get an email to pay the fee in order to cancel. Waited nearly a week and we called multiple times to get this email.. one phone call consisted of the receptionist(?) saying “ohhh I was going to get to that tomorrow, is that alright” (after waiting 3 days, already) I’m not sure if it was a coincidence or they ended up trying to rush our order so we wouldn’t cancel but some how, 3 days after our first attempt to cancel, we got a “we would like to confirm your delivery” call. I would still attempt to shop here, I would just make sure we weren’t going to cancel cause it wasn’t an ideal experience.
We have been looking for furniture all over Red Deer. Ashley Furniture was by far one of the better experiences. The lay out of the store was inviting, open and overall really nice to walk through. Compared to other stores.
Brendon was really great to deal with. Came around, introduced himself and explained the sale then let us walk around to view more with no hassle. He’d check in, answer our questions and continued on his way. No lingering or any of those awkward silences, ya know.
Ashley’s will definitely be one of our first stops next time.
Only downside is the wait times for furniture but you really can’t avoid that right now.

Rita the sales person was very nice and helpful with the purchase of our couch and bed. I know sometimes that things go wrong,but me and my significant other had an all round great experience!
