Watch your back when shopping here. My husband and I came here to buy for our wedding, and although we were originally greeted and assisted by a good sales associate when we returned for others in our wedding party we were not treated the same. The sales associate was very rude to myself, as well as the father of the groom and father of the bride. Prices we agreed on changed, and we were often told the men in our group would not fit into the clothing, even though they are regular sizing. Very sad, we had higher hopes for TipTop.

I have been here a few times and usually no one offers me any assistance and the only reason why i continue shopping is because the sales usually. The last time i was there a gentlemen actually took the time to help me try on a suit and telling me my size which i really do appericate it. Most dont take there time with me because of my age being so young but im really glad he did.

My fiancé and I had one of the best/worst customer experiences yesterday at the Oshawa Centre location. Upon arrival, my fiancé and I were greeted by a professional, well mannered, young man named Jordan who was able to help us look through all of our options. Unfortunately, the store had gotten busy and Jordan had to tend to other customers, respectfully. Due to the capacity of the store, we had to look to another employee for assistance with measurements and fitting. We then approached a woman named Anne at the cash (a manager), when asking her for assistance she did not seem pleased to have to leave what she was doing. With a slight attitude, she measured my fiancé's chest and proceeded to find the jacket in his size. After finding the jacket, my fiancé asked if he was able to try on the matching pants. Anne then looked for what she assumed his size was, he then had told her 36 ' 30 and she then ignorantly said "You know you're not going to be wearing them below your waist, they are going to have to be pulled up". I could tell by the look on my fiancé's face that he was extremely uncomfortable, as he is a military man who hasn't sagged his pants a day in his life. Now, both my fiancé and I are bi-racial (black/white), and are use to having stereotypical comments being thrown our way, but rarely when we're making large purchases. After brushing that comment off, we then asked if it was possible to try on the suit with a shirt underneath to get a real feel of the suit. Please keep in mind this suit is for our wedding, and we wanted my fiancé to LOVE what is wearing on our special day. Anne then said "WELL, ARE YOU GOING TO BUY ANYTHING TODAY?". I don't care IF we were planning to buy today, tomorrow, or next year... that comment was extremely offensive. Why would she assume we were not going to buy anything? With her tone and abbrupt comments throughout the whole experience, we had no other choice but to feel as though we were being racially profiled. I am extremely disgusted with the treatment my fiancé and I had gotten by Anne. We will be returning to Tip top tailor to purchase the same suit we were looking at, but it will not be at the same location unfortunately. We would like to thank Jordan again, for helping us pick the suit my husband to be will be wearing on our special day!

I went in today on a very busy day, and had to share my experience, Laura helped me and multiple people at the same time alloting very brief check ins to make us all feel valued, every person was bonding with her and I saw her running. Her service was 10/10. If I owned a store I would undoubtedly hire her. Product is good quality too.

I always like tip top tailors ..but in my recent purchase at Oshawa center I had a mixed feelings. There was a salesman and saleswoman in the store. The saleman welcomed me and tried to help me. But the saleswoman completely ignored me and she was not helpful. When I asked for my size she just replied order online!...while her colleague found my size five min later I felt she was only answered to customers from a certain race. I might be wrong but it was my feeling.

Very helpful staff and only giving 4 stars because the range was a bit limited for top coats. Suits and shirts etc seem to be just fine. Quality style and pretty much up to date on trends.

My fiancé and his groomsmen went to tip top tailors in Oshawa. The salesperson was very distracted, helping other customers (which I understand). It took them 2 hours to finally fit my fiancé, and another hour and a half to fit the rest of the groomsmen (3 people). When they went to check out the salesman decided to try to find everything they could at the store, after being offered to order everything in new. It took them 20 minutes to find 2 things and insisted they couldn’t order in what they had. My fiancé and the groomsmen walked out with their sizing. They will find something else. Very unimpressed after spending almost 4 hours total all they got was their sizing. Would not recommend
