I hate to leave this review.... but.... Let's start with the receptionists... they are still the same ladies I used to see as a child going here often in the 90s love yall.... but I have an issue. I've come in person signed papers to have my medical records sent to my local docs office. It's been over a month (on the forms it says they will do this in 30 days or less) I've called every day for weeks with no answer. I have nothing better to do and have been calling non stop this whole 2 weeks with nothing. I've even had my now docs office try to get my information with no luck. I'm very displeased with this and changes need to be made. I have a right to my medical records and I want answers

This clinic has never failed me no matter which doctor I have dealt with over the years Came in with bruised foot due to a fall. Dr immediately ordered x ray. My previous medical clinic simply suggested rest and ice and said office appointment not necessary (??). Turns out it was fractured. Dr. Mah got in touch with orthopedic surgeon within a day. I was referred and seen within a week. Dr Mah is fantastic. He gets right to the point and takes action immediately.

I needed a doctor's note, if they couldn't provide one I should have been told about it from the start, I would have enquired somewhere else, made me wait two days just to phone me and tell me you can't. Day 1 I receive a call from Dr. Amir Izadi, He give a quick miss call and leaves a message in a condescending tone saying "when you want to talk to us, give us a call". No phone number provided and the clinic phone lines don't work or perpetually busy. A bit disappointing.

I love this clinic, they’re so efficient. Can get a telephone appointment within a few days, and get a prescription faxed to my pharmacy same day. Dr Mah is lovely in my opinion. No complaints.

I came here to follow up in person regarding injuries sustained from a quite severe motor vehicle accident. During the consultation I was explaining to the doctor my concussion symptoms and how I was still in stage 1 of the 5 stage concussion protocol. I also went over my whiplash symptoms and was hoping to discuss when my return to work would be as I would not be able to go back as of today. During this consultation The doctor was extremely dismissive and cold. There was barely any physical assessment to which he said I’m doing good, despite the fact I told him I had intense headaches frequently on the daily. After discussing everything he turned and signalled I could leave, without mentioning my days away from work. I asked regarding my return to work to which he said come back Monday. After this I went to the nurse to book in for that Monday only to find out he’s only available on Wednesdays to which I would need to get a sick note for the two days between Monday and Wednesday as I am definitely not able to return to work according to concussion protocol. The nurse was nice enough and said no problem and to wait back in the room again to ask for the note as she mentioned I would need to see the same doctor again for the icbc claim. When he returned to the room he was visibly agitated. I asked him if he would be able to give me the note for the two days to which he denied quite angrily and said to come back Monday. When I explained I wouldn’t see him until Wednesday and that the nurse said I needed to see him he was even more short and responded condescendingly “you don’t need to see me you can see someone else” I was quite shocked in his tone and how he reacted. I reiterated what the nurse said politely to only have him rummage around in his desk aaggressively while raising his voice saying “IF YOU WANTED TIME OFF YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SO! I ALREADY DID THE PAPERWORK AND SENT IT, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS OK?! IF I GIVE YOU THE NOTE I WILL HAVE TO REDO ALL THE PAPERWORK AND SEND IT AGAIN AND IM NOT GOING TO DO THAT SO YOU CAN EITHER COME BACK OR GO TO SOME ONE ELSE! “ I honestly was speechless after this outburst and rushed out of the office trying to hold back my tears. I was so caught off gaurd by how unprofessional and angry he was… I understand that the system is a mess right now and doctors are under a lot of pressure but patients should be able to come to a medical facility and receive quality care or atleast be examined as of the doctor actually cared….clearly he was having a bad day and I was his punching bag. Also… I’m sorry but if you have to resend the paper work… then resend the damn paperwork…All my other practitioners have said not to return to work due to concussion protocol… but for some reason The Dr was so triggered. To Dr. Nirwan, I hope you are ok…. You’re behaviour clearly reflects otherwise and I’m genuinely concerned if you are treating other patients with this lack of empathy, professionalism and care…how unfortunate.

I would give 0 stars, but that's not possible. So I give them a 1. Worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. They discriminated against me for having a disability and then denied it and ignored me when I tried to bring it up with their staff. I cannot possibly warn you enough, do not go here. It also seems the medical director makes excuses for their staff at every available opportunity, making sure to dismiss people's concerns by explaining how experienced and hard working their people allegedly are and how they couldn't possibly be held entirely accountable for their actions because of that experience. It's disgusting, and I really do hope this clinic shuts down or comes under new direction so they will stop hurting disabled, trans/non-binary, and mentally/physically ill people. If medical clinics are supposed to provide compassionate and equitable care then this is not a medical clinic, it's nothing but a waste of time.

Worse clinic ever. I would love to give no star if I can. They never pick up call, also take a long time to reply email. The doctor gave me a referral letter on Mar 22 but he forgot to sign. I send a email back to clinic and no reply. Then I brought it to clinic, and I was told they will call me back once doctor back on the next day. I wait another week but still didn't get anything. Apr 22 at 12:23pm I email them again for my referral letter, the assistant ask me to email them again at 2:30 for reminding. Like I'm assistant's assistant. On Apr 25 I finally got my signed referral letter. Then I ask them is my daughter referral letter have signature on it because we have referral letter at the same day, but my daughter's referral was send to specialist directly so I can't check. Doctor said he can't check cause he was too busy. I email the reception again still no reply. Worse clinic ever.

I just moved to Victoria and have heard all about the issues with finding a family doctor and the difficulty of being able to get into a walk-in clinic. I called Tillicum Medical Clinic a few weeks back and booked my walk-in appointment. WELL, today I had my first appointment and the whole experience was great! Cathy, the receptionist who I spoke with, so lovely and just very friendly and welcoming! She's amazing! I met with Dr. Chandler and he was awesome! So friendly and just lovely to speak with!!! My experience was fantastic. :)
