Dr Rupinder Toor is the Founder & Medical Director of The IUD & NE Female Health Clinic. She has been a champion and innovator of female health and culturally appropriate health care. Dr Rupinder Toor has been a pioneer in establishing female health as an area of focus within the scope of Family Medicine, and shares her passion for these areas with students, health care professionals and her community. She is fluent in English and Punjabi (and can understand most Hindi and Urdu!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Yurkowski made this experience welcoming, as comfortable as possible, and provided critical information freely. It was obvious my well-being was at the forefront of her considerations; she provided a more appropriate IUD when she saw my frame.
The appointment was booked quickly, the facility accessible, all staff were kind, and I felt all my needs were thoroughly and completely met. This is an incredible resource for women in Calgary and surrounding area. Thank you Dr. Yurkowski and team for such an incredible experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After doing tons of research, I am so glad I stopped by this clinic. My iud insertion went super smooth/quick and the doctor (Dr. Greenwood) made me feel very comfortable. Obviously everyone is different in terms of pain, but it is safe to say that my experience went very well. I highly recommend checking this place out for all your IUD needs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter was referred to this clinic to get an IUD. The treatment she received at this place was the worst. She came back crying for hours because of how humiliating and demeaning the experience was. The way she described to our doctor was that she felt violated. I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. I just don’t understand how they can call themselves a woman’s clinic when they make women feel violated.

Super sweet, accommodating, always helpful and offers numerous solutions to issues I had in the past.There’s nowhere else I’d rather go to be honest!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Sawatsky is hands down one of the best doctors! I Saw her through my pregnancy and loved every bit of it. She was calm, attentive, and answered all the questions I had; with it being my first pregnancy, it made it way easier for me to navigate through this path. Returned calls when I felt uneasy and reassured me quiet often. Her team at the hospital were as amazing as she had mentioned them to be. Couldn’t have asked for a better dr and better team to help bring new life into this world!

I hope to find a family doctor who will treat me with as much care and respect as I receive from the doctors at this clinic. I am never rushed, they always take me seriously, and my overall mental and physical health have been taken care of diligently by these fantastic women. Having A female doctor from this specific clinic has honestly changed my life for the better.
