h	hannah tran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently found out the Pacific mall location closed down which was upsetting since that was my go to location, specifically because of an unprofessional employee i interacted with at the Markville location 3 months ago. I was first greeted by a younger employee, in the middle of me explaining the products i used, we were rudely interrupted by an older lady with glasses. I told her what my skin care routine is and she insisted that it was completely wrong but i told her multiple times that it worked for me. She forced 2 other new expensive products that i did not feel comfortable trying (the brand whoo) and told me i had to listen to her. She also told me pacific mall didn't carry this and that it is better then what i'm currently using (therapy). At that point i didn't feel comfortable and told her i would think about it, i didn't end up purchasing anything. As i left i looked back and noticed she looked very angry and annoyed while talking to her co-worker, i assumed she was talking about me...
A	Allison W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to really like going to this location. The Korean lady, I think she’s the manager, is really nice friendly and helpful. Then I started to refrain from going to this location when they hired this older Chinese woman with short hair and glasses. I dislike sales people who are complete know-it-alls when they’re wrong. I advised her I can only use oil free products on my skin because I have oily acne prone skin but she proceeded to hard sell me these brightening and anti aging creams. She said to me “there’s no such thing as an oil free product. Every product has oil in it. You can use this cream, even I use it and I don’t get oily.” Seriously she needs to do research before she opens her mouth. Just because a product works for you doesn’t mean it will work for everyone. She hard sells you every product to the point where I broke out in sweat trying to get away from her. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Did not have a pleasant shopping experience.
h	house hold on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the shop on Dec 4 - I believe a lady named "Sukey" served me. I wanted to test out the scent for 5 of the birthday month scented hand cream. Sukey swabbed the 6 scents for me to try on cotton swabs (covid protocol) - she was super patient, and also recommended the popular 'June' scent. I told her that I had to try out the scent because I was making xmas loot bags for my friends. When I was done paying, she offered me 5 additional bags so I can individually pack my loot bags. Sukey was super helpful. Not to mention I am a huge fan of Innisfree products before they even launched in Toronto!
S	Sena on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interviewed here for a part time job and had to wait for an extra 30 minutes after the chosen time of my interview for the manager (the lady with the bob and glasses) to finish up. She then proceeds to talk over me during the interview while I try to answer questions and insult my skin for having a few acne scars. Very unprofessional, if this is the treatment I get as an interviewee then I don't want to imagine how the manager treats her staff.

The employee is really helpful to explain the difference between products, and not pushy at all to make a sale. Bought something on sales and she even give me some samples for the products that I might be interested in.
M	Melissah Low on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a few weeks ago with my friends, and I just couldn’t shake the negative experience off my mind! Especially we went to Fairview today and wow, what a difference!!! My friend was helped by this younger girl at first. She was so nice. We all had a good conversation and then they started to talk about the products. I was just looking around since I didn’t need anything. An older lady came and just stared at us, it felt so uneasy. Turns out she was a staff because she just rudely intervened the conversation! And she yelled at the younger girl in front of us!! On top of that she kept rolling her eyes and sighing, telling us she’s new and doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Well maybe you should assist her and not yell at her in front of customers!?!? Then the older lady went on for a really long time explaining about the products to my friend and even tried to pressure us to buy! We clearly didn’t want to engage and came in for 1 item, but she just kept talking and pushing, it was really exhausting. She was just too much! After we left, I saw her yelling at the younger girl, felt so bad for her. Hopefully the company sees this and will have a chat with them about the treatment of their staffs and customer service! We are never coming back to this location again! We actually went by Fairview today and the service was way better! Nicer staffs and she gave us samples!
M	Marri N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't been to Markville for a long time, didn't know Face shop changed their name. I went in to see what sales they had and this lady kept talking to me. Asked what I was looking for. I told her I was just browsing and she wouldn't leave me alone. She asked me about my skin type, if I use their products, etc. I was really not in the mood to chat. I just wanted browse but she kept bugging me. She also stood so close, like it's covid time lady! Stay away! Anywhere I looked, she had something to say, so I just left. I hate sales rep that wouldn't leave you to browse. I get that it's your job to sell but I've never had such a shameless persistent and annoying sales rep before. Beware of this older short Asian lady with glasses and a bob hair cut, she'll chew your ear off!

Recently visited Nature Collection - Markville and I was approached by Anita. She graciously walked me through the product lines, asking thoughtful questions while explaining the benefits of each. Her wealth of knowledge was quite evident and recommendations greatly appreciated. Very refreshing shopping experience while being treated by such a warm and kind individual - well done Anita!
