An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place to go drinking with your buddies, especially on game night. This location has a great patio in the summer.
Nachos are amazing, small portion. Don't buy the wings, you literally get six smallest wings for $17 each with 20%tip that's like 20$ a plate, we ordered two plates, never getting that again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has such a great rooftop patio. Staff were very friendly, you just sit yourself anywhere and a server will come to you to take you order. We went on a Tuesday so we got to try their Taco tuesdays special. Tacos were good but the servings were very small. The fish in the fish tacos were less than half of the shell. Their garlic cheese bread was very good though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so impressed with this Brewhouse location - I decided to share my experience - several nights ago I ordered my fav treat and takeout - Bacon wrapped Chinook Jalapeño poppers after a long day of shooting - and they were not up to par for several reasons and for the first time I didn’t really enjoy my experience - I know all restaurants can have a bad night and I reordered it the next day and I mentioned that I’d left a review on the Brewhouse app - the gal I was dealing with, the manager didn’t charge me for my 2nd order - I was blown away and grateful - I specifically recall mentioning that I still planned on leaving a great review as my previous 3 orders from this location where I now reside were all awesome! That combined with the amazing customer service I got wishes I could leave more than 5 stars ⭐️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sunday brunch at Brewhouse is always great! Mother's Day was extremely busy and the kitchen was backed up. Dani was super friendly and great with our 4 year old daughter. She brought veggies from her meal right away and even tracked down some fruit to keep her happy while we waited. She definitely took care of us and we'd love to have her serve us again next time we're in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed this place. I tried the Buffalo Cauliflower, Dover Poutine and Brisket Poutine. I loved the Cauliflower and really enjoyed the Doner Poutine. The Brisket Poutine could have done without the BBQ sauce. Either do it with all BBQ sauce or all gravy but not both. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices were on par for similar businesses and products in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Canadian pub I have been to. I just love to spend time here with friends and moreover their food varieties has a real good taste and real crisp. I just love their buffalo chicken poutine. It has got very crispy and long fries. Would recommend to try it to everyone!!
