Thai Elephant is my go to place for Thai food and it has been for a few years now. It is delicious and excellent value. I typically order red curry with tofu, veggies, and rice and spring rolls. I've also had their coconut rice, pineapple curry and stir-fry dishes - it does not disappoint! Friendly service as well :)

First time trying Thai food and loved the pad thai so much! This place is small and cozy and total value for money. We went for combo meal for 2 and it was so good and the portion was generous!

Thai elephant is kind of like a hidden gem. It’s downtown but very Lowkey. Although it doesn’t look like much, they make delicious Thai food at an affordable price. Can’t ask for more. These pictures (obviously) don’t do them justice, the food was delicious!

My friend and I stopped by on a whim because we were super hungry and all the patios nearby had long wait times. We were glad we did because the food was great and we got it in a reasonable amount of time even though they were prepping many orders for takeout. We were the only ones in the restaurant which worked out well for us because our server was super nice and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We both got pad Thai, although I got the curry version. Had ample amount of chicken and portion sizes were quite generous. We both probably could've shared one. Would definitely come again. (Note: I forgot to take pictures until we had already started eating. Presentation is better than what I am Showing)

There aren't a ton of options in the immediate vicinity of Trinity Bellwoods Park, but Thai Elephant satisfied our craving for Thai curry. The staff were quite friendly and the portions were large. While it is not the best Thai food, it is perfectly acceptable and we have nothing to complain about.

We ordered the Thai Ice Tea but it was too sweet, less tea. The Mango Sticky rice is too much rice, less mango and honestly not what I expected. We also ordered the chicken Tomyum but the chicken was too dry, not juicy. The service is so rude. The server ( I think she is Indian) brought me the Deep fried coconut shrimp and said: β€œ I don’t know if it is good or not, but you have to finish it” which is odd. The washroom is not that clean. However, I find they have quite a lot orders from DoorDash and UberEat, and I don’t understand why.

Came in very hungry with my friend and the portions were huge, we couldn't finish them. Pad thais were super yummy, would recommend. Added chili oil for a good kick. Samosas were good as well, 7/10.

This restaurant offers delicious food, with large portions, at an amazing value. I'll be honest, I didn't expect to love the food as much as I did. The sauce in the curry was so rich and flavorful, the meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the sticky rice was a great match. If you're craving Thai food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I will say, however, the restaurant could use a few upgrades in decor, and serving water in beer glasses was an odd choice.
