★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been recently buying sushi for me & my family a lot from here! Even though I lived in this neighborhood over 20 plus years & wasn’t a big sushi fan! We always get just the California rolls. But will to try different types as I learn more about them. This place has made me a sushi lover now! Lol . Staff are super friendly & the food is always made to order & super duper fresh & good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly but the place is in serious need of a deep cleaning. Miso soup was good, edamame overcooked. Despite having rolls for about $12/ and specifying a type of fish (eel in this case) it was primarily filled with imitation crab no matter which roll we recieved. Plating was nice. Wouldn't recommend or return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was empty on a Friday night so we were happy to get in right away... til we realized why. Neither of the two staff had any masks on at all, nor did they ask for vaccine proof. We promptly left and will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been eating from Ichiban for years. The food is always delicious, the portions are generous, the owners are the sweetest and the old school wooden booths with the little cushions are just so cute. I love this place. Just ate there in person and the sake slaps. Long live Ichiban ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly owner, we come here often. She remembers and greets us like her favorite customers. We always like the food, but somehow the sushi we ordered lately was somewhat different, the rice is not as smooth(?). The presentation was very nice, see picture.
