We purchased a SuperCard and unknowningly purchased the mobile version in error. When we went to the Calgary office to get pictures as well as update for vaccine status we were told we could do on this purchase. Took several questions to get the attendant to even give us a email or phone to connect with someone... She acknowledged that several had had issues as the site is very unclear but simply insisted that the change couldn't be done. She wasn't at all helpful and in fact verging on rude. We'd rate this a 1+ We contacted the ecommerce office and they were awesome. They responded very promptly and had an immediate solution and ensured the "purchase" of the card was at the same discounted price that we had originally paid. Excellent client service (5) We love sunshine and are looking forward to a wonderful season. They are generally so helpful and friendly but the Calgary staff who was attending us needs some feedback.

The staff here really need to learn empathy. I don't usually write reviews, but this was unacceptable. I would highly recommend going to a different resort.

Booked private snowboard lessons for my kids. And their instructor was great and they had a great day on the hill. It was our first time at sunshine and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had my baby along and me and the baby were planning on just watching the kids and going in and out of the food area as needed to keep the baby warm. However, our experience was tainted from the start. I had to pay over $50 just to get onto the mountain even though I had to go to help my 4&7 year old get to their lesson. I was not skiing or snowboarding just watching. The gondola to get up was completely in accessible. My stroller, which was narrower than a wheel chair could not fit through the door without folding it up. The main food hall and bathrooms were on a second level which again was inaccessible. My husband had help to carry the baby in the stroller up the stairs to get food and to use washrooms. It was not possible for me to manage on the resort without the help of my husband. Normally I’m independent in managing the 3 kids and getting around. We will not be returning for a very long time if ever. I do not ski or snowboard but do go to the hill to watch my kids and Sunshine does not make that an affordable option.

There was poor visibility the day we went skiing. Isabelle and Heather from the retail store we're awesome. They went above and beyond. the lens on our goggles we're too dark. We got a nice pair of new ski goggles, visibility was way better and had an awesome day.

Would be super helpful if they posted they are closed for lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm on their site or info page. Especially on a Saturday during the holidays. I waited in my car and there were about 30 people who came during this time to see a sign on the door that they were closed for lunch. When they opened after lunch there was a long line of people waiting outside in the freezing cold. If you’re closed for lunch put it on your website so people don’t drive all the way there when your site says open. Also, they had two employees taking lunch at the same time. Maybe stagger lunch breaks so you don’t close down the whole store?

Don't stay at the village. Great spot for snowboarding but I don't recommend staying. The manager at the front office was on a power trip (karen) . At the end of our stay we were handed random add on fees which was not mentioned . These people look for anyway they can to get their hands in ur pocket.

For some reason the Sunshine Village Calgary office has always had a unfriendly, rude, and unwelcoming vibe. I'm not sure if it's due to a ongoing toxic work environment that is passed through long standing employees to the new ones, but this has now been the case for 5 visits over 5 years. Our visit today, was particularly bad which is why it was time to share my experience. From the ignorant and unwelcoming entrance to the short and rude interactions when providing the service. The attendees expect you to come understanding the process of linking your card and completing the service. Typically in retail and customer service it's the customer who is often the rude and difficult one. But here at this office it has been the customer service attendant. We will be sure to report this experience higher up and boycott the Calgary office and just get our ticket services handled at the hill where Sunshine employees are actually friendly.

The slopes are so nice the view is to die for. The staff is helpful when you find them … for a first timer i loved the ski but i did not like the lack of service and help to get around. They assume you know everything. Also renting in town and bringing it here when they do have a rental on place but dont want to make reservations is very complicated and painful. The gondola is expensive when you consider that one day ski pass is 164$+50$ gondola. I visited smaller ski lodge that had better organizing for tourism. Overall try to avoid the weekends as it is too busy on the hills. Very nice cachet , the lodge are cute
