About MCI The Doctor's Office at Midtown

Due to the volume of test results coming to MCI clinics each day, normal results will not be reported to the patient. We will contact patients with abnormal results or for tests that require a follow-up visit to a clinic. Pregnancy test results will be reported in a phone call to the patient. If you wish to discuss test results with your doctor, please book a follow-up appointment for one to two weeks after the tests are done. MCI is pleased to provide our patients with medical laboratory services. Please note however that due to government license regulations, we can only process tests accompanied by a requisition from an MCI doctor.

t	tanya dominic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience in this walk in clinic has been really good. I booked an appointment and didn’t have to wait too long to see a doctor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr.Phumelelo Khoza is one of the kindest doctors I’ve met. She’s very understanding and patient. Will only be going to this clinic for walk ins.
J	J K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have patronized Dr. Nassar’s medical clinic many times when he was located in Rutland Park SW. He is amazing! Sadly, he moved his practice to the Beltline but I recommended to my Daughter who resides in another city, to walk in for lab results & a minor assessment when she visited last year. She did say during 1 appt, she felt he may not be taking her concern seriously, which I found odd. It was during COVID19 restrictions, therefore perhaps he was having a hard day? I know he hasn’t accepted new Patients for years, which is unfortunate. I was at the Clinic recently for a scheduled appointment with another Doctor & ran into Dr. Nassar, so we had a nice quick catch up chit-chat! I met with Dr. Brown who is equally a friendly, engaging & approachable Physician. He listened & referred me to another centre, which is great! Wishing them both a happy & healthy day ⭐️
N	Nancy Caughey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know if the walk in doctor(s) are good at this clinic because I didn’t get past the incredibly rude receptionist at the front desk. She asked how she could help and then proceeded to tell me no one was available to see me (why she wouldn’t tell me that from the start, is beyond me). After asking to see a walk in doctor she said that there were no spots open, pointed to the two ppl in the waiting room and said that was it for the day. It was 215PM and the clinic closed at 4PM….don’t waste your time going here, walk-ins are not welcome.

Doctors have refused to help me understand my symptoms or why they may be happening and I've had to go to other doctors who helped me get a diagnosis I suspected. The front desk staff are nice, but the doctors here don't seem to care about patients, especially based on the reviews I can read. Patients should never have to beg a doctor who should be helping them advocate for their health.
M	Molly Bailey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! I walk in, and they tell me it's going to be a 30-45 min wait, which is TOTALLY fine! When is waiting for the clinic ever that short of a wait? But it wasn't even that. My daughter and I literally waited 10 mins, and then we were brought to our room. The front desk staff were very kind and professional, and the doctor took her time, and was very helpful. We had a very good experience here, and will absolutely be coming back here in the future if need be.

My wife and I had to go to the hospital and we were told to book and appointment with our family doctor asap to get a referral to see a specialist asap. We called this location to explain the situation and they said that he was fully booked for the next 6 business days. Is it to hard to find a time in situations like this? Do not got to this location if you really need help. I wish there were more private clinics where you could just pay and get the help you need right away.

We didn't make an appointment and were walk ins on a Saturday morning. Yup I know who does a walk in on a Saturday morning?? Well we did and it wasn't as bad as we thought. Overall start to finish took about 1.5 hrs. Staff and doctor were friendly, helpful and informative. Most of our questions were answered. Family doctor was recommended as we both need continued follow ups. Note: weekend doctors are not regular enough if that is what you are looking for. Better to come in during the week as those doctors are here more regularly and can do follow up care better.

I was walk-in patient and I didn't wait that long. If you make an appointment ahead, it won't bother you that much like other reviews for sure. I'd love to come back here if I have any health problems on weekends. I went other clinic to see doctor for same reason before I came here, He was absolutely unprofessional about my situation. He said there's nothing wrong and told me to find other doc because he can't do anything for me. I'm so happy that I found doctor actually take cares about their patients! 100% recommend Dr. Ma?
