Very terrible to employees and talk terribly behind their back along with being very unprofessional and unorganized with pay terrible customer and employee service. Along with they’re very racist

Went here to look at computer desks today. Not only did they have nothing in stock, but the guy working the floor was not very helpful. I asked him for help, and he seemed annoyed and advised me that he was already helping another customer. Totally understandable, but I never saw him again and after waiting 20+ minutes I had to ask the cashier for help. I realize the people working here are making minimum wage, but I myself used to work in retail and I at least tried my best to help people. There's really no excuse for such terrible customer service. There's really no point in shopping here. Most items they sell are available online for lower prices with free shipping. The only advantage of shopping at a store like this would be for better customer service, which doesn't exist. I've gone ahead and ordered a desk on Amazon for less money and free shipping. Curious to see how long it takes for this place to go out of business..

I dropped off spent toner cartridges for recycling ♻️ They also recycle batteries.? Picked up some office supplies. More retail outlets should do like this and ease the burden for the consumer and the environment. ?

Was in the store today for 30 minutes looking at Mac computers. It wasn’t at all busy and staff were standing together chatting. No one said hi or even looked at me, so I left.

You been in one, you have been in all of these. Not an exciting shopping experience. Went in to purchase an HP ink cartridge. The size I wanted was not available. Staff did not know when they would be in.

Absolutely brutal customer service. Spoke to the employees at the store over the phone stating I needed 2 20X30 Color posters printed same day and they said no problem at all. Drive all the way from Stoney Creek , Get there for 6:55pm only to stand in line for 35 minutes as the employees help 4 people who were behind me in line. Instead of asking what can I help you with, they just asked if anyone was here to pay or pick up orders. Finally after it’s my turn they tel me that it won’t be able to be finished tonight because they close in 30 minutes. Go to speak with the Manager and he goes to talk with the girls behind the print counter comes back and says β€œSorry, there’s nothing we can do for you as we are closing in 30 minutes.” Thanks for wasting my time and not even trying to make things right. I will NEVER be returning to that location again. If I could give negative stars I would have.

This Staples is pathetic. I got 4 small cards that can be laminated on a simple 8" X 11" sheet laminated here. Cost me $3.75. I had the same service done at other Staples locations like Ancaster and Waterdown several times over the past 3 weeks. Same service, same price each time. The last time I did it on a Saturday, yesterday. 4 cards again, but this time I was charged almost $7. I asked the Manager Margaret why I was charged double for the same service that cost me $3.75 multiple times before at a few locations, including hers only 2 days prior. Margaret said that's what she would charge. She was indifferent and seemed to not want to bother putting any thought into the matter. The managers and employees at this location openly do not care about their jobs, their service quality, or the customers. This store should be closed or regional management should come and replace every manager with employees who have integrity.
