J	Janice on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On May 1, I went into staples to look for a chair pad for carpet. And as usual, sadly becoming the norm, they didn't have any. The shelves were empty. I made my way to the front counter to find out when they might be getting some in. The staff member, not sure but anxious to help walked over to another staff member to inquire. The fellow behind the counter inquired what it was I was looking for. I was in the process of describing the mat, when another staff member accosted me, accusing me of yelling at the staff. I have never been so insulted in my life!! Of course with masks and keeping distances one cannot speak in hushed tones. One needs to speak clearly, but I can assure you I was not yelling. To clarify I asked the staff member I was speaking with prior to being accosted, if I was yelling. His response was "I didn't think so". I have no idea where this insult came from, perhaps underlining discrimination. However it was humiliating, insulting and extremely demeaning. I have sent letters to the management, but as of yet have not received a response. I won't be going back. Oddly I was just assigned a preferred customer account as I did so much of my shopping there however it will never be used.

C	C D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best customer service I have experienced at any store! I usually purchase computer related items from best buy, but I am glad I stopped in at staples duncan! Store manager Vik was amazingly friendly! He helped me pick out an awesome machine, got me signed up with the staples card and when the computer wasnt in stock, he drove his own vehicle to nanaimo and back to get it from the store up there! He also got it a day earlier than I was expecting! When I picked up the computer at the store, Orwa helped with the right protection plan for my new equipment, and explained all the details about the purchase systematically which I really appreciate! If you are shopping around for anything computer/office related, drop in at staples Duncan. I'm sure glad I did!

k	kls on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking is good, selection okay, but I don’t understand why they can’t get their online pickup staffed or organized. I’ve always had to wait even when no customers at the cashiers. But don’t ask THEM for help.

The 4 I am referring to happen to be busy chatting and laughing amongst each other vs helping customers. However Lenora (Lenore), the one and only staff willing to provide complete assistance today, was focused on the customers and providing them quality service. She went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Thank you Lenore: you deserve to be acknowledged in a positive light.
D	Daryn Jestin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went to the business center at Staples, and was greeted by Customer super rep Anna. I had to copy some paperwork in an email off my phone. Anna was amazing, she showed me how to forward it to (printme@staples) then she printed it and "BAM" I was done and on my way out !! Just like that. I was very impressed with Anna , she really knew her way around in the Staples business center. She was very polite, happy , efficient and at no point did I feel rushed. Not hard to notice this employee is being streamlined for a management role. Next thing I needed was a small coin sized battery for my vehicle key. They just happened to be sold out out at the time, but the effort that sales rep Nelson went to, in order to check was a must mention also. He checked a cart, with several battery boxes on it, then 3 separate cashier tills with a little area for batteries, plus the warehouse. This all took only a couple minutes as he directed his actions in a very meticulous orderly manner which exuded efficiency. Overall,.....it was a real pleasure today doing business with Staples here in Duncan. The staff are friendly , happy and obviously skilled with great training. Other businesses that deal with customer service should really check out how Staples get things done.
