Terrible customer service. Take your electronics, break it, kick you out of the store if you complain. Of course won't own up to it nor fix their wrong doing. Not just me! Read the reviews, quite a few people had the same experience. Kevin Grubert, the owner, does apparently not mind losing customers or reputation. Truly one of the worst experiences ever.

Bizarre experience. Phoned for an appointment to replace the battery on my MacBookPro upon reference from my computer guy who cleaned & upgraded my MacBook. After I provided the serial #, was told by the rep @ Ultimac that no battery existed for this model. Looked online & found plenty of references that showed that batteries do exist for this particular model of MacBook Pro (& the costs to replace them). He asked me to email him with specifics which I did that same day. He NEVER replied to the email he requested of me. By the time phoned me a few days later, I told him he misinformed me about the battery, did not provide any true information. Run, don't walk away from this company. BTW, I do see that the owner bullies anyone who writes a negative review, so although I fully expect it, never fear, I am not deterred from telling anyone in my community how unhelpful this Ultimac Company is.

I really appreciate the people at Ultimac. I have brought many devices in for repairs, and they've always taken great care of me. I am not super knowledgable about apple products, and they're always clear about expectations, timelines and pricing. They have also supplied me and my team at Resthouse with devices, and kept up on any maintenance and repairs they needed. I am always happy to support them, as they do for us, as a part of the local Duncan business community. Thank you to all at Ultimac!

I have been taking my Apple devices to Ultimac for years. The team at the store is prompt, professional & timely. I have never had an issue regardless of the service needed, whether that be a warranty related issue on my Mac or out of warranty screen repairs on my iPhone. Kudos to the whole team! Will be back and will continue to recommend to my friends & family.

I’m am very disappointed in my experience at Ultimac. I had an appointment to fix a phone screen at 1pm on a Monday. When I arrived I was told that it would take an hour and a half and wasn’t informed that they needed anything else from me other then the phone. I arrived back 2hrs later and was informed that my phone was not done and I’d have to wait till the following day. I was not contacted on an alternative phone number that I gave them that it wasn’t finished or any information at all. After an hour of leaving I was called on the alternative number I gave them that they needed my Apple ID password.. and they said if they didn’t call back that it looks okay means good news And the password worked. I waited till the following day and went to pick up my phone… assuming that like the man said.. no news/no calls meant good news.. when I arrived I was told my phones Apple ID password did not work and would have to reset my password. So I did and asked why I never got a phone call to tell me that the password didn’t work. I was told they were short staffed when I was told the following day that my phone would take only an hour and that it would be fast as they weren’t busy. I left dissatisfied and still didn’t have my phone.. I was told I would receive a phone call again when it was done and I never got one. I called hours later and was told it was done. I went back fore the fourth time when I should have only Been there twice for the phone repair. I did not need my phone badly for any reason but I am very frustrated with the amount of time spent driving back and forth between the store and my house. I never got an apology for the time I had wasted or even a smile there before my time had been wasted. I do not and will not recommend this store to anyone. I should have been asked to log out of my Apple ID when I had went there the first time and should have received phone calls updating me as I was promised. 1/5 stars

I use Ultimac for business purposes just for context. I manage IT for several companies with high demands and Ultimac is essential as my supplier and installers. It's like having an extension to our employee base but third party. I can always rely on Brendan at Ultimac to take my calls for new equipment orders for our companies from laptops to specialized networking infrastructure equipment and when everybody else's wait times are months, Brendan has it delivered usually within 5-7 days. Also, if I'm looking for a solution I can count on Brendan to offer valuable insight through his years of experience which you cannot get just anywhere else. For installs, Ultimac delivers timely, well planned and executed installs with always quality of work in mind which always saves time for our companies in the future, thank you for this. I strongly recommend Ultimac to any business looking to have their IT setup/redone, so the focus can shift to work and business performance instead of IT issues peppered all throughout the year. Also definitely keep their number on hand for any business equipment needed as it's always quality business products at fair pricing. Ultimac is so much more than just a retail / apple repair store.
