March 16, 2022 I was having an anxiety attack because the second hand Canon EOS 5D (EF mount) I bought did not have the same lens mount as my other Canon's (70D & T6i have EF-S mount) and so the two EF-S lenses I used did not fit. I called London Drugs in Duncan and spoke to Max. "Can you come to the store" he asked. Yes, so at the store Max figured out what I needed. Most importantly was my Sigma 150-600 fits because it is made for both EF and EF-S mount (Max tried it out & explained this to me); but I didn't try it at home (silly); I tried my 250mm and 50mm EF-S mounts that didn't fit and got all anxious. My 5D takes Ef-S; what a relief for me that my Sigma fit, it would expensive to buy a new 600mm zoom lens. So I bought a new 75-300mm f/4-5.6 and a 50mm f/1.8 with lens protectos. I now have 3 EF mount lenses for my Canon EOS 5D; I immediately went out to take pics......THANK YOU SO MUCH MAX!!!!!!

Me and my partner have been to this location a couple times and the last 2 times we’ve walked in the electronics section I have had my bag searched because the old man in that section assumed I was stealing. Which is illegal if there isn’t a cop present. There wasn’t. And I wasn’t stealing and he seemed surprised I didn’t have anything but my clothes because I was going to my partners house. I was there this evening and once again I walked into the electronics section and the security guard that was there followed us until we were at the cash register. I think it’s very disrespectful to think we are going to steal just because we are young adults. I’m never going to shop there again because of these experiences.

Avoid as hard as you can. Very intimidating clientele and obviously staff has had enough. Cashier literally yelled at me maybe the wrong door? I'm not sure why. It was an extremely bad experience did not feel safe.

Ordered 2 items online for store pickup, money left my account immediately. Next day get an email, one of the items not available. No big deal, just refund it. Then told refund would take 3 business days, and since I ordered on Saturday it will be 5 days. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I should not have to wait that long for a refund for an item that doesn't exist. All I got was excuses and buck passing. I will never order an item online from London Drugs again. Pathetic

Cashier made rude remarks about to a customer and laughed as I was leaving. Yeah because the guy wearing a tie coming from work is a homeless person that you should tell a customer you should wait for him to leave right? Never been there before. Won't be back. Also two guards outside made comments and were staring me down for some reason. I was just in there for a minute to get bus tickets. Wow

The lady at the post office was an absolute delight. I was on my way to work (which is never fun, of course), but "Melissa" had me smiling and laughing before I left. People are quick to complain about poor service, but I just HAD to comment on the friendly and quick service I received today at the Duncan London Drugs. I'm not normally a London Drugs shopper, but after the service I received today and the good prices and sales, they have made a new customer.

I went to London Drugs because I had a new (to me) digital camera and I needed some accessories in order to download the pictures. I worked in a camera store for 12 years in the days of film, before digital, which is new to me. I have taken literally thousands of photographs, some of them actually quite good. Being a woman "of a certain age" I am used to people treating me, how to put it, as though I am somewhat invisible or as though I have no life experience. The young man who helped me was competent but totally unresponsive, no engagement, no shop talk about photography, which I heard him engage in later, with the next customer. I am excited about embarking on this new venture, I would have liked some encouraging words, some eye contact, some acknowledgement. Not that I am saying this young clerk did anything wrong, per se, but I will be looking for a more engaging and interesting place next time I need photographic equipment. Need to remember, your goal as a sales person is to make every customer into a return customer, it doesn't take that much of your time and attention to accomplish this.
