★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deli area always seems to be understaffed and thus slow service. This is a busy grocery store. Be prepared to stand in long lines at the cashier. It would be so much better if they had directional signs in the aisles. Displays in the aisles and customers going both ways, can cause congestion. I rarely see staff if a question needs to be answered.
Thankfully, they no longer have coin carts. Who carries coins anymore?
During my Nov2021 visit some items were sold out, but that is likely due to the recent highway closures due to storms.
I want to like shopping there because of the location and the points you earn, but it is just too busy. Even the parking lot seems crazy busy all the time.

I have to go to save on foods pharmacy everyday and I really don't mind at all, I meet new people eveeoeryday and that is exciting for me to meet people ? all the time and I don't judge ? at all because I don't know what that person has gone through so I can't be the one who will or the one to judge any one because of the way they look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude, creepy security guard came out to hassle me when I was picking my online order. Started laughing at me when I said why I was there, not that is was any of his business. Has to go in the store to return something and he was staring me down the whole way...got to customer service. A cashier said she would page someone there. The guy at the check out said hey from way other there and stood there staring at me also. I was like I'm waiting for service over here. He was like huh? I had to repeat it again. Obviously if someone is customer service they need help .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The clerks tend to be friendly and kind and helpful and have patiences with us senior citizen customers. We've just been here a year and frequent this store a bunch. They get it that treating customers kindly is thr trick. Good on ya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ save on foods is my husband's favorite grocery store. we can usually find what we are looking for including international foods. The vegetables are usually decent despite the supply chain my husband also likes it because they have grain finished meats as opposed to grass-fed meats. they also usually have good sales. having children with different needs for food, we always find a way to accommodate their needs. it is also fairly easy to get through the checkout lines.
