★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As some others have found, ours was not a particularly pleasant shopping experience, the salesman being far more interested in his coffee and his paperwork but we were able to buy what we needed (golf discs) which is the important thing . Another time we will shop elsewhere if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly and condescending service with evidently low quality gear. Rental mountain bike derailleur hanger (a minor piece) broke one hour into a 3-day rental, making the bike unusable. We had to pay for parts and labour of the repair, which were well overpriced, and we received no help in trying to understand the policy and costs. After returning the bike when due and then coming in to discuss costs the following week, the salesperson aggressively asked why we hadn't returned any of his many recent phone calls, none of which we had received. We will not be returning to this shop in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the only bike rental shops open on Sunday (from our research). They are very COVID friendly (sanitizers and masks) and the staff are efficient and knowledgeable. The bike rental process was very straight forward and they provide helmets, repair kits and map with the rental. The bike itself was light and easy to ride. They are about 2 quiet blocks away from the bike path which didn’t end up becoming an issue. We ended up going the Seaside route and got to cycle through downtown, fisherman’s wharf, and the shoreline.

All of the staff members were well informed and extremely kind, and i will be recommending this shop to all of my friends and family. Thank you sports rent!
