H	Henry North AR on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re looking for a rental in Victoria I highly recommend North 48. I emailed North 48 in advance of a work trip to see about a short 1-2 day rental. David was very responsive, asked some questions and advised he had a Colnago CX Zero in my size. Once in town I stopped in and he fitted me for the bike. He provided some suggestions for routes to take based on my preferences and also flipped me some strava routes. The bike was in great shape and it was a beautiful day in the saddle exploring the region. Next time I’ll consider a guided tour to get a bit more of the local insight. Victoria and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited for exploration by bike.
C	Charles McCarville on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rental bikes are my preferred option when traveling, especially from another country, as the cost may be comparable with airline fees but without the hassle of reassembling and then repacking. This is only true, however, if the bikes are high quality and in good condition, which ours were. Ours were Colnagos, although I don’t recall the model. The gearing was appropriate for riding in the vicinity of Victoria, which is generally flat but does have some short steep hills. For a climb such as Hurricane Ridge in Port Angeles, I would have asked if lower gearing was available. David also spent a significant amount of time with bike fit, which ensured the riding is as comfortable as possible.

David was outstanding helping get my rental set up for me, even a last minute change from a road bike to a gravel bike to suit the ride I was looking for. Next time I will Book a guided trip and take advantage of the local knowledge, especially for cafe recommendations!

Best bikes available to rent in Victoria (from my googling at least!) but the guided tour with David makes it. Fantastic route with zero risk of getting lost and great local knowledge along the way. Not to mention a quality bike. Overall, one very happy customer here.

We sometimes ship our bikes but renting is much easier if you can get a high quality bike that is set up close to the geometry of your home bike. North48 rented us some Colnago bikes that were perfect for a week of 50 mile days around Victoria. Bikes were set up to our measurements and rode well. No problems except that we did not want to return them! Great service, excellent communication from the owner. Highly recommend.
