★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite shop in the Victoria area. My son and I make the trip to Marty's even though it's a bit further from our local stomping grounds. The staff and Marty have been awesome to my son, supporting his love of riding. They are always helpful, have great inventory, brands and an incredible team of mechanics who have kept our bikes rolling and on the trails. I highly recommend Marty's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not much of a biker and didn’t know what I wanted, the staff was very friendly and took the time to consider my requirements and expected usage; and set me up with a bike that was perfect for me while also explaining all the maintenance and quality of parts. He didn’t try to over-sell out of my price range for a quick buck but instead got me into a bike that was actually cheaper than I was willing to pay. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why this is the best Mountain bike store in town. They are welcoming , friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the service staff are absolutely brilliant. With a son who races this shop treats him so well and will literally fix anything 5 minutes before closing as he had to be on the first ferry next day for a weekend race…..Bruce you are literally a super star and one of the finest wheel builders in the City….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped my bike off last Thursday and was a little taken back that it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. But I was having a few things done.
They told me to call Tuesday before I came to get it. I called and there was no answer. When I arrived to the store they had not even started my bike. So I could have been riding it for four days!!!!!
So I just grabbed it and left as I was so upset. Now I need to cancel my cycling trip. UGH ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I initially posted a five-star review due to fast turnaround time and excellent explanations of what was happening to the bike, but then had an issue after my first short ride.
Brought this issue to the attention of Bruce the mechanic, and he supplied me with a replacement part to remedy the situation.
Great service, great staff.
