★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told my battery was dying by great canadian oil change and they told me $177 to install a new one. Ummm no thank you. Went to Island battery who told me $144 installed so today I went to Mac's. No appointment needed and they replaced the battery and installation was free. Also checked my alternator free. Very friendly fast service people and the price is right. $133 all in. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for your exceptional service.

I was having charging issues and I was pretty sure it was my alternator that was going..Joe tested my battery and listened to the alternator to confirm the problem. They were able remove/rebuild/replace my alternator for a great price - The quoted price was good, and he charged me less since the labor was less than estimated cost

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a 26 year old and failed alternator here to see if it could be repaired. Without hesitation Mac’s took on the job and a few days later my alternator was returned in as good as new condition. The price for the work was extremely fair and even included the exact same replacement of a cracked outer shell. I have no hesitation in recommending Mac’s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The person I spoke too was nice but I am not sure his advises were accurate.
I have issues with starting my car, flickering dash lights and cruise control not holding.
He told me my alternator was the issue so I it replaced.
It did not resolve any of my issues.
Should have taken it to a mechanic before having the alternator replaced could have save 350$.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store and customer service, both the old and new owners. My car died in the parking lot next to them and they replaced my starter and battery on the spot, for a very reasonable price. Plus honest and courteous service - what else can you ask for? Highly recommended!
