★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I broke one of their shop decks within hours of skating it, doing only old man maneuvers. I approached the shop and they told me it was probably stale wood. I was boned because of that boneless; my 75 bones were theirs.
I did make a cool chair out of it though.
1/5 stars: decent building materials at an egregious price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff at Coastline are incredibly helpful. They helped me find a wetsuit that suited my needs for warmth and mobility, they explained the warranty and return policies and how to care for my wetsuit. They went above and beyond and made what would otherwise be a daunting experience, a very exciting one. The wetsuit was on the pricier side but I will without a doubt be visiting their shop again - thanks to the employees for all their knowledge and help!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a tuque that just fell apart after a few weeks of wearing. When I asked about warranty the shop told me to deal directly with the company. Seems some small business' don't get why people want to shop locally. It's for the service! Should have just made my purchased online I guess. Was a Volcom tuque and their website states that we should deal with dealers when and if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been buying my surf gear here for years; was the first place I went to buy gloves and booties to keep me warm while winter surfing and I've never looked back. I'm living overseas now and there are no women's suits in the shops here....just wanted to say good job Coastline for carrying quality surf gear for women and for having staff that are knowledgeable about the gear so chicks can actually surf in the winter :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff there was very knowledgeable and friendly. The selection was awesome, and they bring in new shipments frequently. They were also very flexible about returns and online orders. Decent amount of parking nearby, although all pay parking. Definitely will be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't recommend Coastlines enough. We've made three trips to the store in the last few months to buy cold water gear and each time got standout service. The staff are all great - friendly, knowledgeable, always happy to go above and beyond. They're also really welcoming to total beginners. A special shout out to the two female staff members who helped me get the right wetsuit when I was struggling super hard with unexpected claustrophobia. They were so kind and full of great advice. Thanks!

Just popped in to get some new bindings for my own board. It's nice to have a board shop in Victoria with a good selection!
