Been going to this dealership to service my Hyundai vehicles for the past 8 years. Usually it was good, when I was dealing with Richard or Rory. Tanya was always very arrogant. The last time I was helped by Jennifer, and I will not go back to this place again. I came with two issues (clunking noise over bumps and vibrating noise at high speeds). She mentioned complimentary inspection and then full mechanical. I assumed between those two inspections the issue will be discovered. After complimentary inspection I got the video, which showed my tires were separating on the inside and needed to be replaced. Even I knew that was the reason of the vibration. I told her not to do anything with tires as I am going to get new tires in my regular tire shop and specifically asked not to do balancing or alignment. I also said I will replace weak battery on my own and small things like viper blades. She was not happy and said she approved my rental vehicle based on the amount of money she originally quoted me, which was close to $3,000 out of my pocket on top of what the warranty was covering. These $3,000 included all possible flushes, which somehow were never suggested before and suddenly I had to do them all. She also quoted me to replace spark plugs, which was not necessary at 100K, if they are working just fine. My car was kept at the dealership for 8 days. It took them 3 days to just get the OK from the warranty. In a meantime, I paid for the rental - 4 days out of 8 days was not covered. The full mechanical inspection uncovered the reason of clunking and she still charged me for another separate inspection for the clunking, which discovered the same thing! And also charged me for tire balancing and said in the bill that I asked for it, even though it was the opposite - I asked not to! She would not reply my text messages - communication was poor. Their bills are designed to make you confused! When I finally reached out to the service manager via contact form on the website, he never replied. I tried to phone couple of times, but the line was always busy. They lost my business. I will not go to a place where the sales commission is valued more than a long-term customer.

Recently dealt with amazing team at the Southtown Hyundai to buy the 2022 Palisade, the process was just amazingly simple. People actually know what they are doing. Absolutely amazing service from Paul! He is willing to listen and ensure you are set with what you need in a vehicle. He is personable, friendly, well spoken and will go above and beyond the call of duty. When I picked up my vehicle to take it home, he placed a call to me at the end of his shift to make sure we got home alright and see how the car felt overall. Amazing! On a side note, Era, a finance manager was remarkable as well. Super friendly and patient. Willing to follow up and explain situations to ensure you never felt like you were being pushed aside and happy to help even though she was super busy as well. Era and Paul are integral parts of this dealership and I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

After Recall work done- valve cover leaking oil onto alternator, problem was not fixed. Oil still leaking, AND I found a loose mounting bolt for the alternator. The technician immediately offered to re-do the recall work but said the timing cover is the problem. Had my doubts about that so I declined to do work to the timing cover $1,099.00. Now I noticed the bracket for the alternator wire was not bolted on, sitting loose and a broken bolt head still threaded in the hole. Also they did not reinstall my air intake hose, it's totally missing now. I took the engine cover off to inspect further and found more bolts loose.
