★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Southepointe Pet Hospital has been Our Vet since we moved here in 2008. They've taken care of ALL of our Dogs throughout their lives and their transition to the Rainbow Bridge. ? Their Love, Kindness and Compassion for each and every one of their furry patients and their Human parents, go far beyond what any other Vet I have ever been to.
Just yesterday, Dr.Alyssa helped Us transition Our Beloved Baby across the Rainbow Bridge. It was one of the Hardest decisions I've ever had to make in my life. Dr.Alyssa was there every step of the way, through the decision making, questions, crying and countless phone calls. She stayed with Us, Cried with Us and when it was time to take Baby, she cradled her like she was her own dog.
If ever We move away from the South side of Calgary, I will Always drive to Southepointe for our pets health needs. Always!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just moved into the area, and regrettably had to find a vet for our cat who has urinary issues. I spent a decent chunk of time reading reviews for vets all over South Calgary, as choosing a new veterinarian is one of the hardest things to do. Dawn picked up the phone and was superb to deal with - she is friendly and kind, with a sense of humour to boot. We were able to book in for the next day. The clinic is welcoming and clean. Once we were checked in, the front end staff kept in touch while we had a short wait for the doctor. Dr. Kyle was our doctor today, and he really put me at ease. He listened to my concerns and was reviewing our file sent from our previous office. He was kind and gentle to my cat while he examined her, which I appreciate. She had to stay for the afternoon, and I felt confident I was leaving her in good care. When I arrived for pickup, I was again greeted warmly by anyone who walked by. The office just has a sense of camaraderie. It was as great as an experience can be under the circumstance, and I am thankful to have stumbled upon this clinic. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been bringing my pets here for 20 years. They are always compassionate, understanding and genuinely care about the pet and the person. They ensure that you feel supported as a pet owner and they are always responsive to any concerns. They want the best for your pet, however do not recommend unnecessary surgeries/tests unless they feel it is warranted. I always recommend them to my clients, friends and family. They are also advanced with Palliative care for your pet and this does not mean putting your beloved animal to sleep, they will work with you and your pet to promote quality of life with interventions including pain meds, anti anxiety meds and are with you when you make the final decision. They have supported me for a few of those difficult times and I am most thankful to them. They will even make house calls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Alyssa Eslinger was so amazing. We found her in Mollys last year and it was so helpful. The house visits eased the stress of vet visits and she was always so caring and offered various treatment options. Losing a pet is quite possibly one of the worst experiences but dr Alyssa made it perfect for molly and treated her and us with genuine care and compassion. I could not have gotten through it without her. I recommend palliative care to anyone with a senior dog. Thank you!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a 9 year old Bernese mountain dog, and have been seeing Dr. Alyssa for many years.
She is the best vet we have ever dealt with. Professional, caring, and always willing to spend the extra minute to explain things properly. The best “bedside manner” of any Dr. (pet or human) we have ever dealt with.
Our dog is likely in his final few months with us, and the care we receive is exceptional. I would highly recommend the home visits for pets with mobility issues.
It is tough to find customer care this good anywhere.
We highly recommend this vet if you haven’t used them before.

The staff and doctors have been excellent with her, they accommodate her behavioural needs, have always been able to help. We have had great experiences here.... and the best part is she loves going to see her friends at the clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been taking our dog Baxter to this clinic for 8 or 9 years now, since we first rescued him. All of the vets and technicians and support staff are absolutely amazing. They’re patient and kind and compassionate and understanding. They truly go above and beyond in everything they do. I love that they really seem to know all the dogs and owners. They have great hours and respond to emails right away. I was worried when our regular vet (that we love) told us that she’d be transitioning to hospice care primarily and we wouldn’t be able to see her as much in the clinic anymore. However, the new vet that she paired us with is just as smart and caring as she is. Love this clinic ❤️
