My cat got very sick with a urinary tract infection after Christmas and I took her to Auburn Bay Veterinary Clinic, she was treated by Dr. Sandeep Mangat. Dr. Mangat shows compassion and empathy for all his clients. He has a sense of urgency to find out what the problem is and take action to give the best possible care. My cat is now healthy and happy. The supporting team members work well together to ensure your pet has the best care.

Adopted a kitten from the humane society last week; this clinic was listed as a partner vet with their adoption program, and is close location wise so I took my cat here. Worst experience ever! They took my cat into the back, explaining that they now have a "hybrid" service whereby I stand in the exam room while they take my cat into the back where I can't be with him, let alone see what they are doing. After about half an hour of waiting (and hearing my cat cry incessantly), the vet comes out (without my cat) into the room, seems surprised that I am in there, and tells me that everything checks out and he is fine, and that he gave him his vaccine. Then the receptionist tells me it will be $111.50. huh? I told her that as per the humane society paperwork that the health exam was to be free; she tried to tell me that was only if I brought him in within 2 days. I told her it clearly states that it is to be within 10 days of adoption, and that this was the 7 day mark. After some humming and hawing she goes to the back and comes back to say the vet will "give me a discount" for a total of $72.26 (arbitrary?) and that that is a "compromise" for services. I called anonymously today and was advised pricing for this kind of service is $87.00 for the health exam and vaccine and that there was "no way" to separate the 2 costs. The de-worming medication is $24.50. So with the "discount" yesterday I was charged $47.76 for a vaccine that I'm told by other clinics ( I called the Cranston vet and Legacy animal hospital who told me a kitten vaccine is $20-30.) Bottom line untrustworthy and over charge you without accurate or clear explanations of what they are charging you for. Also, I have owned many pets in my life and have NEVER had the vet take the animal in the back to do anything without my presence except for surgery. I have no idea what he did to my cat, or even if he did receive his vaccine. I will NEVER go back. It was very unprofessional and he gave me creepy vibes. Yikes.

Such a wonderful veterinary facility! All the staff were so friendly, and my little cat was provided the best care for his operation. I really appreciated the follow up phone call the next day to check how my cat was doing. Auburn Bay Veterinary clinic really showed they cared, definitely would recommend, thanks so much!

Super friendly and accommodating Clinic. I need to be at work at nine and they let me come and drop off my son’s pet early for surgery at 8:30. Have always been attentive and caring on other appointments we’ve had as well.

I took my ridgeback to this clinic. We saw Dr Steven Dillon. He was amazing! He’s always so concerned about making sure your pet is comfortable. My dog is afraid of people, but Dr Dillon took the time to calm her down and get her used to him. The whole clinic was really good. Everyone is really nice and pleasant to work with. I’d highly recommend this place to everyone.

All staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Explained what would be done on my cat at this appointment , vaccine indication and side effects. The DR examined my cat and after came and gave me feedback, gave general health education which was welcomed as he opened a line of communication. Not expensive for services provided. This veterinary practice is now my permanent vet for my family , highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience with our kitten who needed a spay and also first round shots. She came home looking pretty good after surgery. She’s healed extremely well and where they needed to shave her looks very nice and it’s growing back beautifully to match her longer fluffy self. Within 3 days she was back to normal being funny and playful. She has zero tenderness to her tummy and is thriving. I can attest this to her excellent care given at the clinic and I am so appreciative. They sent her home with medications and instructions which was also great because I can forget things pretty quickly. We also had to take our husky in for her updated shots and she had a wonderful time and her care was also wonderful. They are also very kind and helpful on the phone. I highly recommend Auburn Bay Vet to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their pets.
