★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading plenty of amazing reviews about Anthony, I finally decided to book an appt to get a haircut and colour. Definitely the best decision & I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Anthony is very professional and extremely knowledgeable about hair; he explained everything he's doing to my hair, why he's doing it, gave tips on everything hair related, and would constantly ask questions to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend Anthony to anyone thinking of getting anything done to their hair. The salon is also very clean and beautiful and all the staff are very welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stylist I had, Shayla (I'm sorry, I don't know if that's the correct spelling of her name!) was absolutely lovely. She was so personable - either a natural conversationalist, or very intentional in doing so. Either way I noticed that right away. When she asked what we were doing I said chopping all my hair off (from armpit length to pixie cut). Shayla admitted right off the bat that Pixies are not her specialty, which I absolutely appreciated - it helped set my expectations of the cut. I have a regular stylist that I see but this was an impulsive decision to cut my hair off again and I wanted it done now rather than in 2 weeks. I knew I was taking a risk! I asked Shayla if she was comfortable doing the style that I showed her front and back pictures of and she said yes. Below are 2 images I showed her and the cut I ended up with. She did do some of the undercut but it looks a bit like a mushroom cut with an undercut haha. I do appreciate that she admitted she wasn't experienced cutting short hair. She also provided me a discount at the register and offered to rebook me back with someone else for a complimentary fix of it. I don't specifically think Shayla could or should have done anything differently, it's just unfortunate how the cut turned out, and that I'm still out of pocket for it in addition to having to pay my regular stylist to fix it. I know I have the option of taking Shayla up on her offer for the complimentary touch up - I think I'd just feel more comfortable with someone I know and trust is skilled in short hair styles :) Thank you for being kind, honest and thoughtful Shayla!
