★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend Sound Care Medical Imaging enough! On January 18th, at 8 weeks pregnant, I attended my first ultrasound (at another ultrasound clinic) blissfully unaware that my world was about to come crashing down. Due to covid restrictions, I was by myself when I learned that I was likely having a missed misscariage. 1 week later, I was to have another ultrasound to confirm this tragic diagnosis. I called clinic after clinic trying to find a location that would allow my husband to attend the ultrasound with me. Despite advising these clinics that I would likely be receiving bad news, I was told no over and over again. Then, I discovered Sound Care where I was finally shown some compassion in my time of need. I was so relieved to have found a clinic that would allow my husband to be by my side. In fact, they routinely allow partners to obstetrical ultrasound appointments. The ultrasound technician that did my ultrasound was fantastic. She approached the delicate situation with grace and empathy. I will forever be greatful! Ladies, if you are expecting, this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an ultrasound done in Sound Care Medical. I wanted to thank you for your service. The. Technician was very nice, polite and professional. I was very impressed how well the clinic was organize with covid-19 safety as well the Reception Desk stuff with very polite and quick admission.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing experience at Sound Care! They bent over backwards to accommodate me after there was a misunderstanding (mostly my fault) with my appointment at another ultrasound clinic. Maureen was fantastic and called me back within half an hour with a same-day appointment. Once we got to the clinic, the staff were all so lovely! Our ultrasound technician Kathleen was awesome. She took the time to explain everything and put my husband and I completely at ease, (it’s our first baby). I would recommend Sound Care to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very unpleasant experience with the ultrasound tech today. Receptionist was super kind and welcoming but the technician was not. Didn't ask if I was doing okay at all throughout both exams done, didn't give me anything to clean up with (I had to use thin napkins for on and inside me..) and rushed me out of the room while I was cleaning up and getting dressed saying she was late for her next appointment. I've had many ultrasounds done at this location and other locations and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I was literally crying during my appointment because of how rough and unsympathetic the technician was. I'm currently in a lot of pain as well which I've never experienced before (I've had many of these same exams done before). As someone who's going into the healthcare field, this is really discouraging to know that some patients are treated like this. Won't be coming back :/

I just had my ultrasound and I am so pleased and felt that everyone were so pleasant and respectful! When I read the previous messages I wonder how these can be so disrespectful! Medical staff have been working non stop during the pandemic!
5 stars and more for Soundcare workers! Love the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll start off by saying that I would leave a five star review just for the receptionists and the nurse that I dealt with. They were very kind and accomodating to me.
My experience with Dr Baker was awful. I've never been treated so badly by a medical professional.
After mentioning on the phone, and immediately prior to the procedure that I have a bad reaction to IUD insertion, he said 'Oh, you're the fainter!' and laughed.
He tried to ask questions while removing my previous IUD, but seemed irritated when I was unable to respond due to the pain I was in. When he removed the IUD, he held it up as if he were taking a photo with a fish he had caught.
His bedside manner is non-existent, he was dismissive, and he didn't listen to me at all, to the point where the notes in my file completely misrepresented my entire appointment with him.

I was greeted with a smiling receptionist and the clinic is clean. The technician was great ! They took time to treat me very well, I give a 10 stars! Would highly recommend this place !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service. Not welcoming at all, unfortunately this is our third visit and every time we visit its the same if not worse experience. Front desk are never welcoming, very demanding and provide an unpleasant welcoming. I hate giving poor reviews but unfortunately for a place like this they deserve a 1 star. The doctors are the only ones that are amazing, caring and passionate! We come to experience a good time during the ultrasound, our excitement level drops as we never get that good customer service.. I actually am glad I don’t have to visit this place more often. If you’re in Ottawa I don’t recommend you attending Sound Care.
