Yes, to avoid having obstructive sleep apnea related symptoms return (daytime sleepiness, headaches, snoring etc.), bring your PAP machine with you when you travel. Depending which country you travel to, you may need the appropriate electrical socket attachment.

Take your PAP prescription as you may be asked for this when going through security. It is recommended that your PAP machine is brought as an extra carry on as the device may become broken if placed in check in luggage. Most airlines allow PAP machines as extra carry-on bags as they are medically required devices. Check your airline’s policy regarding PAP machines before travel.

M	Matthew Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are thinking of going here please read this. They sent me home twice, with a broken machine to do my initial sleep study. I was scolded for not doing the test properly, then told that the machine would be sent out for repair and that I would have to wait for it to return to the shop to get another test. Once they realized they had sent me home with a broken machine, they swept the scolding under the table without so much as an apology. My doctor sent an order for a titrartion, which they never called me about. I only got the test done, after I called my doctors office and found out that the order was sent some weeks earlier. The last and final straw that led to this post is be talked into renting a machine from them at 200 dollars a month, then finding out that they had been sitting on the doctors note that would allow me to purchase a machine through my insurance. Avoid this company at all cost. I am not an unreasonable man or a disgruntled employee.

I was provided thorough remote feedback regarding how well the masks I was choosing between were working and was ably guided to choose the best mask for me. They also call me every year to service my machine and I usually end up getting new supplies and new mask at the same time. Every time someone tells me they have sleep apnea or need to be tested for it, I always suggest for them to go to Sleep Medix. Great Service, great staff!

Again, seeing a respiratory professional made all the difference to me as a health professional because I can be a detail oriented customer. Sidney and Ryan, who are both Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs), addressed my questions thoroughly with their wealth of knowledge and skill in respiratory function and sleep apnea therapies. The front desk staff were also courteous and efficient in making my visit a smooth one. I had to return for more questions on day 2 of my trial and I was accommodated promptly and given the support that I needed for a successful CPAP trial. I recommend Sleep Medix because you are sure to be working with specialists in respiratory therapy (RRTs)- frankly, the best suited professional to be offering the services in my opinion. Well done Team Sleep Medix!
P	Preston Sniher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were very patient with me, as my work was super busy and I had to cancel and re-book. Told them to call back a few times and they did each time. Before even going in, they advised on how to instruct my family doctor to write a proper prescription to replace my existing machine (important for qualifying for insurance). Finally got in to see "Sleep Tech" Wanda and she was really great, showed me the new machine and all of it's features. They gave me a folder with two copies of the invoice, stamped PAID and included a cash register receipt - again, important for insurance coverage. Got my machine home, and slept like a baby. They also give 30 day replacement on the mask in case your mask doesn't fit and gives you problems. So no worries there... Glad I went here.

Ryan Senger, my respiratory therapist, was thorough in explaining the ResMed system and procedures and spent the time needed to answer my questions in person and his replies to my emails were prompt and fulsome. His recommendations were tailored in response to my specific needs. I felt listened to. Thanks in part to his encouragement, I am using my cpap machine every night all through the night.
