I wish I have taken photos of two worst Shaw store clerks working in Metrotown today at 5pm. First female staff stand in the front as receptionist pays so much attention to her phone and using very unfriendly tone when I approach for what I am here for, I just kindly reply I want to get a new landline number as I am existing customer, and she told me to wait on the side while she can whisper to another female staff that what I am here for. Then another Asian male staff approach later and ask me the same question again what I am here for. I am a bit upset to repeat what I just told the receptionist. Then he simply told me to call the call centre to get a new number. Then he invited me to come to the desk and check my ID and ask me what’s my landline number. After I replied, he said he can’t find anything under that number, I said it is because my account was registered under my cellphone, not my landline. Then he finally shows me my account and with only few options, which is 5. I said I want certain 4 digits in the end, which is not like tricky 4 identical number, it’s just a number important to me. Then he got no answer to me and looked at me with a poker face. I highly recommend these two staff to be fired , because I know you shouldn’t play cellphone while you are standing as a receptionist, and also there won’t be just 5 options available as I have previous experience with the call centre, there are lots of options available. In summary, a business with lousy staff won’t benefit the business at all, I will make sure I move to Telus when my contact is expired.

Extremely upset with the terrible service today. We went in to get our wifi upgraded and were helped by an asian lady with long hair. First, she bombarded us with contradicting information about our wifi speed. Then, she told us our wifi would be slower until the wifi was completed the upgrade. After giving the go ahead for the wifi update, she then informed us that our wifi would be turned off until we got home. Slower wifi until upgrade completion is not the same as "wifi will be turned off until you get home to install it". If she had mentioned this before, I would have come back on a day where no one was working from home (as this requires wifi) to proceed with the upgrade. The back and forth contradicting information given to us led to unnecessary stress and chaos. Improvement is needed so no one has to go through the chaos my family had to go through today.

I came in to this store and tried to cancel services many years ago since I was moving to a different address. got a call from a credit company last year asking me for money because of overdue services from shaw. I CANCELLED IT. now I called shaw and all they can say is the account was closed 2 years ago and there's nothing that can be done. I've had the worst experience with this company. We tried getting their services back and all they did was sent in a bunch of technicians at our address that were not even prepared to do their job. They've wasted my time and now they're scamming me for money. do better. I CANCELLED IT AT THIS EXACT STORE. and I moved. it shouldnt be my problem but now I had to pay for this.

Absolute WORST internet I have ever experienced. Have had 3 technicians visit my home in Kits and have all just clearly put a β€˜band aid’ on the problem. When I tried to schedule a fourth technicians via the chat, went through an hour process only to get disconnected when they sent me their availability (which wasn’t for another week!) can’t believe how horrible this has been.

-5 stars. As soon as I reached the door, this rep just hands me a little sheet with a bunch of phone numbers on it and bouncer blocks me from going into the store any further. Went in to ask a couple questions in regards to cancellation and instead of letting me finish my sentence, the dude cut me off constantly saying that I need to call customer service. I understand I need to call customer service to cancel but all the other questions I had was totally answerable in store. They need to learn to listen to their customers to find solutions rather than push it off to customer service. Waste of space shop with incompetent staff.

The temporary location is easy to miss, but it’s next to Sneakerbox and HotTopic on your right as you’re walking towards Zara. Shaws retail location in Metrotown has always been good to us for the last 4 years. We came to a kiosk 4 years ago after TELUS aggressively insisted we provide our SIN numbers, and in less than 20 minutes we had a modem to take home without doing a credit check. Which was less time than we spent arguing with TELUS nearby about the SIN number. I will admit that I was initially upset to be told that Shaw would need to do a credit check to change our phone plans a few months ago but it seems that the feedback has since been received and tonight we able to quickly and easily change our phone plans to Shaw mobile without any credit check since we were already existing customers. Add to that we were offered a fantastic deal for our home internet and cable. Julio was wonderful to work with, able to do all this for us quickly and easily. We were in and out in no time at all. Highly recommend Shaw!

i thought we were going to get the help we needed but We were told to just call customer service to port number, is that true? Or they just didn't want to help us or just lazy? Because when I called customer service they said to go back to the store and tell them. What the heck. I don't know if the worker didn't want to help because they had many customers or just lazy. they have a pile of "customer service number" ready to hand out to deal with most of the customers, i believe they will only give assistance at the counter if you are a New or Applying for addition things to your account. PS = I'm reading the reviews... wow just wow.

Claire the manger was amazing!!! I came in to the store wanted to get my bill sorted out. Not only she was the first one to greet me but she got me into a better plan then I had from before. Claire was able to get all my plan sorted out, taught me how to return my old modem. It was SEAMLESS!!!!! Best experience ever at Shaw!!! Thank you Claire it was an amazing experience no wonder you are the manager!!!! ????
