K	Kevin Chuang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking to get your snow pants or ski pants hemmed or need alterations, definitely hit up James at Stitch it at Metrotown, located across from the McDonald’s and below the escalator leading to second floor. I had ordered a pair of Montec snow pants, and although the size fit well, the pant legs were a bit too long. I had taken the pants to two other clothing alterations stores, and was told that it was impossible to hemm, due to the fabric as well as the inner linings. From searching different reviews, I came across a review that mentioned James had done alterations to their ski pants. I decided to take my to James, and sure enough he said it’s no problem. He provided excellent customer services, was courteous and was kind. Upon picking up my pants, it was perfectly done, including alignment of the patterns that I had on my pants. It’s as if I bought the snow pants as is with no alterations. I am very satisfied with job done by James, and would highly recommend.

I got a prom dress altered and was willing to pay for it and obviously give the store enough time, as I understand they may not be equipped for a job like a prom dress. The worker was extremely rude complaining about how the dress was so poofy and had so much material (my dress isn’t super big). When I finally had enough of his complaining I stated “You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. I can always take it somewhere else” and that seemed to finally shut him up. Overall my experience was horrible, the dress itself is fine, but just how rude the guy was… was just so off putting especially when it comes to something as important as a prom dress. I don’t even want to get started about the other worker there. He kept making small little comments and when I asked him to repeat himself he seemed very annoyed I didn’t catch it the first time and just completely ignored me. I never write reviews, but I was so disappointed about this experience and just wanted to share this as it was an extremely upsetting visit there. Zero out of five stars for service.

I took it to Stitch It at Metrotown and I was helped in a professional manner, I was asked for my opinion, and the woman (sorry, didn't get her name) also suggested I take the sleeves of the shirt and jacket up. My suit was ready for pickup sooner than expected, and the woman and James were there to greet me. James was wonderful, told me I looked like a whole new man, and packed my suit up for me. Wonderful service and outcome, and it was way more affordable than I had even imagined! I basically got a custom tailored suit for an amazing price, and experience. I've already referred a few friends to get their clothes altered there too

What’s the purpose of 30 day service guarantee then? I was not satisfied with what they did with my dress but instead they took the blame on me just to avoid of redoing it with no charge. They already charged me for approx $80 for the service I was not happy about. Now they would like to charge me more to fix it. Go somewhere else not here if you need alterations! Not worth it!

He will even provide some suggestions to make sure that you will be satisfied with the result. I am always happy with my clothing's alterations. The location is close to a sky train and very easy to locate in the Metrotown Mall. The pricing is right and affordable.

I thought I had to come back the next day to pick up the dress but they save me a trip. The dress fits nicely and they went above and beyond to tell me how I could take care of them. They were very professional and precise with their works, so i would recommend getting your clothes fixed here! Their prices were affordable too.

She told me the cost is $60 so I paid and left. When I came to pick up the dress (silky material), there were damages (nits and scrapes) all over the dress (front, back, arms, everywhere). Not only that, the alterations were so poorly executed. The arms weren't straight. They were all wonky. The seams don't line up. I honestly can't believe how horrible it is. I told her i was not happy with it and there were damages all over the dress. This dress was over $300. Her response was, "you said this was a cheap dress, so I gave you cheap discount." Firstly, I never said those words. She was making stuff up to cover up her mistakes. She told me to come in on Tuesday to talk to her manager. Overall, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY EXPENSIVE GARMENTS. The lady that helped me was not professional. She raised her voice, she was defensive, she denied the damages and was absolute ZERO help at all. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I was greeted by an extremely friendly person, I believe his name is Will, and we discussed what I wanted along with the woman who would do the work. Everything was quickly measured and the type of fabric was chosen. I came back a week later for the coat and it was exactly the way I wanted it! Highly recommend for excellent customer service, quality workmanship and it was done on time. Will definitely be back ?
