At Save-On-Foods, going the extra mile is nothing new. Actually, we’ve gone above and beyond in all areas of our business since we started, way back in 1915. Originally, we were called Overwaitea Food Group because of the founder’s practice of selling 18 ounces of tea for the price of 16, and the name “overweight tea” stuck. Fast forward over 100 years and that name has changed, but we’re still known for delivering extra value to our customers. Today our company is best known for its most prominent banner—Save-On-Foods—but also includes PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very nice store environment to shop in. But not all the things they state in their ads are true. When we went to pay up at the front self serve they enforced us to get a membership for that specific deal which could have been costly. They dont state that in any of their radio, and or TV ads which I think is very prejudiced, and false as well as terribly unjust for customers who spend their moneys worth on gas to get there. The staff at this location were pretty decent but they didn't allow photographs which I found very sketchy because their was nothing to hide. Found it a bit strict, and false. Please improve this for next time.

Always fresh and delicious, and it is nicer to shop in a grocery store which is more athletically pleasing than the typical wear house decor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit today. It dies remind me of a competitor grocery. However, the difference is the store is really clean and well stocked.
The cashier who helped me is super nice and explained to keep about the rewards card.
The bakery is filled with goodies. Slices of pie, portioned size cakes as well. They also have hot food for busy people to grab.
