In times of such high inflation, ans record high profits for Safeway shareholders, you would think they would go out of their way to price down items. I live close. This is my store.

The store is large and has a Starbucks by the corner entrance of the store. The me eats were well presented, and the store was relatively clean. Self checkout is available here as well.
L	Lavinia Treliving on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am amazed that the current new staff are so poorly trained in customer service. This stores produce is not the best nor freshest, same as bakery. Items that are "on best before date" marked down, and pushed to the front leaving the newly packaged at the back. This store is opposite The Arbutus Club and in a pricey neighborhood so I would have to presume local customers do notice, as the store is not busy. This location has gone downhill since it opened. If in need for Starbucks, it offers great seating, lovely customer service and indoor/outdoor seating. Avoid buying groceries unless desparate!
C	Christopher Nguan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just moved into the area and wanted to try out this Safeway to see if it would become our grocery store of choice. There used to be a Safeway on the site already however it was rebuilt along with a large condominium complex on top of it and now there is ABC liquor store across the street and they are developing a another Plaza shopping centre behind it. It's located on arbutus and 33rd directly across from the arbutus club. There are many amenities just down the street on Broadway or up the street into kerrisdale. The store itself is fantastic. It is really massive. It's clean and bright and there is lots of customer service. The produce section is large and selection and very fresh. They have a large meat department as well as prepared foods section. Their deli department is also likewise big and well stocked. You'll find everything that you need here and it's well organized. It doesn't seem to be altogether too busy despite being so closely associated with so many condominium units. Parking is ample as well which is fantastic and underground. And free! There is a Starbucks located inside the store which is full service and pretty big too. There is a little Starbucks cafe seating area who does next to some really big windows looking out onto the street weird overall a fantastic store and will come back again and again.
